Our tour was phenomenal. Our tour guide (Nina) was knowledgeable, friendly and a delight to be around. We saw a great amount of cheese, cider, Calvados, Pommeau, etc. Cheese was exceptional along with the tour of the factory in Livarot (Fromagerie Graindorge) to learn about the cheese of this region (heart of the Pays d'Auge). Great information and tastings at the Dupont Calvados Family and G. et J-L Cenier (Ferme de la vallée au tanneur). Great selections.

Overall very enjoyable with a decent amount of unique cheese and cider. We went to very pretty locations that would have been difficult to visit on our own. However, the price was a little above what I would expect now that I know what the experience involves. Overall very good time though!

Étienne displayed his warm hospitality from the very first moment of the experience. He spoke with great fervor throughout the tour and constantly thrilled us with his great insight for agriculture. From the weather to the type of soil to the different breeds of animals, there was no doubt about how profound his knowledge is. Étiennes ability to present the different types of ciders and complex process of cheese-making in a fun and easy approach made the tour an unforgettable one. We especially enjoyed the simple ingredients that he brought to the lunch table, which were of superior quality. Étiennes tour was indeed an enjoyable one and we highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to acquire a better understanding for agriculture in France.

Etienne is an absolutely wonderful host. We saw the insider track to Calvados and the four protected cheeses in Normandy. He is well spoken, insightful, and an amazing host. This tour can get as detailed and technical as you want OR you can keep it simple. Regardless, this day tour was full of flavor and magnificent views. Etienne has established his reputation well in the Pay D'auges. His commentary is helpful and refreshing. Would absolutely take this tour again and visit some more producers. If you like Camembert and Calvados, you're in for a treat. And if you're not entirely familiar, this is the perfect introduction! Highly suggested. This was the cornerstone moment for our France trip.

Etienne was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide! He has great relationships with local producers and took us to places that felt really authentic. We certainly wouldn't have gotten the same context or access had we tried to find places on our own. The tastings and picnic lunch delicious, and Etienne helped us fully appreciate the unique flavours of the Pays d'Auge. We'd definitely recommend this tour!
