We pick you up from your hotel within the 4th ring road of Beijing city, please provide the hotel details when make booking. If your hotel is out of the 5th ring road of Beijing city, may have extra cost.

Itinerary

When you book, enter your interests in the Special Requirements field on your booking form. Your guide will then pre-plan your itinerary before meeting you at your Beijing hotel (within 4th ring road only) or a central location for your choice of a morning or afternoon tour.

Then, set off by private, air-conditioned vehicle and visit your chosen historical or cultural attractions at a pace that suits you. Activity costs, such as entrance fees, and foods and drinks, are at your expense.

Four hours provides time to visit one or two main sights, several neighborhoods, or a combination of both. Perhaps explore attractions like Tiananmen Square or the UNESCO-listed Forbidden City.

Alternatively, tour the UNESCO-protected Summer Palace or visit the 15th-century Temple of Heaven before pearl shopping at the nearby Hongqiao Pearl Market.

Maybe delve into particular neighborhoods like Beijing’s atmospheric ‘hutong’ lanes, go shopping along Wangfujing Street, or admire the 2008 Olympic Village. Other activities might include visiting museums or gardens, scouring the Panjiayuan antique market, sampling Chinese cuisine at food markets or restaurants, or tasting teas at Maliandoao Tea Street.

After four hours, your tour concludes with a drop-off at the original starting point.

Most attractions need pre-booking and you need a passport to enter attractions…we wasted a day trying to visit places with no pre-booking or guide…..we then booked a custom half day tour. Not cheap but took all the stress away and drove us around in a brand new car with water and fruit provided !! Excellent service from Maria and Mr Yang.
