Itinerary

Your tour begins with morning or afternoon pickup from your Beijing accommodation at a time of your choice, where you board an air-conditioned vehicle destined for the attractions that capture your attention.

Choose between some of Beijing’s most popular attractions, which include Summer Palace (Yiheyuan), Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang), the Drum and Bell Tower, and the Lama Temple (Yonghegong). Entrance fees are at your own expense.

Following a Chinese lunch at a restaurant (own expense), begin your shopping tour of Beijing. Depending on your interests, visit either designer boutiques, antique markets, or souvenir stores.

My day with Susan was absolutely wonderful! She was so friendly and knowledgeable, as well as very easy to talk to. She told me so much interesting stuff about the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven - even some things that I, a history buff, had no idea about! We also did a tea ceremony, a delicious lunch and shopping at the Pearl Market. She always knew the best places to go, and the best people to talk to. While I am usually ok with exploring new cities on my own, I only had a short time in Beijing, so I wanted to make the most of it. Susan was an incredible guide, and worth EVERY dollar. I will, without hesitation, hire her again next time I'm in Beijing. Fantastic experience!
