Fantastic day with Nicholas
Highly recommend this trip. Our driver Nicholas was amazing and very helpful throughout. Great communication and driving. Could not have been more helpful, and very friendly. We had an issue with the QR codes getting the chairlift up, but both Nicholas and Lily went the extra mile to resolve this. This section of the wall is well worth the trip. We also went to Jinshanling wall and they are quite different so worth doing both. Chairlift up and toboggan down added some fun to the amazing experience. Thank you Nicholas!! Paul

Our tour guide KEVIN was...
Our tour guide KEVIN was awesome. He had great energy, funny, helpful information, helped us get the tickets we needed and explained the flow of the day so simply it was an effortless experience. He was with us every step of the day. He deserves his own acknowledgement. Thanks for making our Great Wall experience so incredible

Great City Tour!
We had a wonderful day with our guide Wendy today. She was very professional, with engaging and interesting explanations. The itinerary she arranged was very reasonable. She was as friendly as a friend. The driver drove smoothly and the service was excellent. I highly recommend Lily's tour and also specifically recommend that Wendy be our guide again next time.

Perfect day
Perfect experience, we went with as a family with 8 month baby and 4 year old. Johnwoo arrived ahead of 6am to collect us. Helped with booking the cable cart tickets, even went on it with us dropping us right to the front of the stairs to the Great Wall.
Johnwoo was so kind and helpful taking family pictures for us and making our experience as easy as could be.

Unforgettable Experience made perfect
What an absolutely incredible day! Sherry was the perfect host—friendly, knowledgeable, and made every moment enjoyable. Seeing the pandas was unforgettable, and visiting the Great Wall was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We were also treated to bonus stops at a traditional tea ceremony and a jade factory, which made the day even more special. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized. This was without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Beijing Magic
I commend the great expertise of Lee, our tour guide. He is fun, eloquent in English and knows the history, culture, and every story of each site visited. I super enjoyed this entire tour, from the Great Wall, to the palace and Tinanmen square to a side trip at Jade house and Chinese medicine and the SUMPTUOS LUNCH. It is a whole day trip but it feels greqt to explore the prime destinations that offer hidden gem of beauty, human artistry and craftiness. I enjoyed the cable ride and the walk to the wonder of the world. May is the best time to visit here because of colder breezy air against the scorching heat of the sun. Price is very affordable. Thank you Mr. Lee and this Tour operator. The driver was also good. Our mode of communication was whatsapp and wechat and the entire group (7 of us from UK, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Scotland and Canada) felt very comfortable, relaxed and entertained. 10 out of 10.

Great mutianyu tour
We had a great experience with Kevin as our tour guide! The tour left promptly on time from the station, and the bus was comfortable. Kevin spoke English very well and provided useful information on the history of the Great Wall and tips for making the most of the experience.
He also assisted us in purchasing tickets for the cable cars and toboggan rides, and was very friendly and helpful in his manner. The tour was an amazing experience of a must-see wonder of the world, made all the simpler with this tour group. We would definitely recommend to any other visitors!

This is a small group...
This is a small group tour to the Great Wall at Badaling, with a stop at a jade factory/store, a visit to the Ming tomb of the third emperor, and a stop at a tea shop. The visit to the wall was great, we got there early and avoided crowds, the guide was knowledgeable, and it felt like enough time (~1.5-2 hrs) to get the experience of the wall. The visit to the Ming tomb was fine, the site is beautiful but the tomb itself is being conserved and we could not enter. It felt like there was definitely time for visits to additional Ming tombs or related sites like the sacred way. The stops at the jade store and tea shop are not mentioned on the itinerary, I did not mind these stops but ofcourse the sellers were very pushy, especially at the tea shop. We could have skipped one or more of these stops and seen more of the wall or more of the tombs so it’s disappointing that half the time that we paid for was used for this instead, especially since there are so few options to visit the Ming tombs. The guide was also a bit pushy about some seals someone was selling and about tips.

Perfect Day Tour !
I had an excellent experience with this private tour to the Great Wall and Summer Palace. From the start, the company was incredibly thoughtful. I mentioned I was travelling with my parents, and they surprised us with a complimentary vehicle upgrade, which made the day even more comfortable.
Our guide, Bobo, was fantastic. Shewas knowledgeable, engaging, and fully bilingual, which made a huge difference. My parents speak and understand Chinese, while I don’t, and Bobo handled everything seamlessly so all of us felt included and well-informed throughout the day.
The entire trip was smooth, well-organised, and stress-free. From transport to timing, everything was handled perfectly, allowing us to just enjoy the experience. Highly recommend this company if you’re looking for a reliable and high-quality private tour.

Great evening
Wonderful introduction to some of the super tasty foods specific to Beijing! We really enjoyed our time with Joe our guide, who told us a lot about the food we were eating and some history of the city as well. Walking through the small streets in the area of Shichahai was an added bonus to a night of great food.

An Excellent 2-Day Tour of Chinese History!
10/5 stars ⭐️! This was a perfect quick tour of the highlights in Beijing. We had Keith for the Great Wall and he nailed it on timing and history - taking us early to miss the crowds. We basically had the wall to ourselves! Loved the Summer Palace as well- beauty and history in one! On day 2, we had Susie and she was a gem! Despite the freezing cold weather and SNOW, she was cheerful and guided us through Tienenman Square, Forbidden City, and Temple of Heaven and took us to see an acrobats show! On both days we had an authentic Chinese lunch meal (which was excellent). Overall, the tours went better than imagined and I’m glad I did it! Thanks Kieth and Susie; I will be back!
A few comments:
1. There is a 3-person minimum required for each day of the tour (it’s in the descriptions). The company was very communicative with us about this as we were only 2 people on the first day. Although it seemed a little suspicious, it was genuine and the other tourist and I ended up splitting the cost of the 3rd person to keep the first day tour. We had no regrets doing this and felt great getting basically a private tour! Just be mindful this may happen if you go on an unpopular day. However, they gave us alternatives (change days, refunds), and let us decide what we wanted to do. So, it’s not a scam!
2. Physical activity. I’m a very overweight person and damn near thought I was going to die on the HILL to the Great Wall entrance. However, I took my time and was not rushed by the guide and eventually made it. The steps are quite steep on the “easy path” of the tour. I was able to go at my own pace and walk for almost an hour on the wall. The second day of the tour was mostly flat except for the climb to the Fulan Pavilion to overlook the Forbidden City (290 meters high, almost 950 foot elevation). Again - I almost died! But it’s split into 3 stopping points for you to catch your breath (or simply stop at one of the lower pavillions). However, if you make it to the top, the view is literally worth the climb. All in, on each day I cleared about 18K steps (~12 km, almost 8 miles) of walking. But, if I can do it - you can too! Wear comfortable shoes with good cushions, watch your steps for the uneven path, and take your time and you WON’T regret it!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unforgettable 2-Day Beijing Highlights Tour with Helen & Rocky
Our 2-day mini trip in Beijing was absolutely unforgettable! From the majestic Great Wall to the Forbidden City and other iconic highlights, every moment was perfectly organized and full of insight.
Both Helen and Rocky were truly exceptional guides — knowledgeable, kind, and passionate about sharing the history and culture of Beijing. They made every stop come alive with stories, local tips, and genuine care for each guest.
The itinerary was well balanced — we got to see and experience so much in just two days without ever feeling rushed. Transportation was comfortable, meals delicious, and every detail thoughtfully handled.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Beijing!
