We will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel if your hotel is within the 5th ring road of Beijing city, if your hotel is out of the 5th ring road, you can travel to city to meet our guide or hotel pick up may have extra cost

Itinerary

Start your day with a morning pickup from your central Beijing hotel, and travel to the Chongwen district to the Temple of Heaven, one of the largest of China’s sacrificial altars. Hear fun facts about its history and watch daily life being played out around its walls; tai chi exercises, singing, dancing and even calligraphy practice take place in the grounds.

Step inside the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests where emperors came to pray, and see the Imperial Vault of Heaven, and the Circular Mound Altar — two must-see features of the site.

After leaving, you’ll travel to Tiananmen Square. Amble around its vast open space to see its symbolic buildings, then head through Tiananmen Gate for a visit to the Forbidden City. Here, you’ll check out all the key points of interest including the Meridian Gate; the halls of harmony, heavenly purity, and earthly tranquility; and the Imperial Garden.

Stop for lunch, then travel onward to Summer Palace, one of the most well-preserved Imperial palaces in China. Wander around its enchanting temples, pavilions, and gardens, and perhaps stretch your legs on the shores of Kunming Lake.

Your excursion then finishes with a drop-off back at your Beijing hotel.

We had such a wonderful time. Tony our guide (in the photo) was on time, polite, flexible and funny. He had a lot of knowledge but also gave us time to have fun together. Lunch was great. A fantastic day all round. Couldn’t recommend it enough. 5 stars go to Tony from all 3 of us.
