Fun but not for travelers

Olivia_H, Oct 2025
It gets 3 stars cause the people were very nice, it was a fun thing to do with my sister and they offered wine. But there were many cons 1. They say Viator never sends them a confirmation so they are never aware when people are coming so they were ready for us. 2. It takes 2 weeks for this to be dried and glazed so if you are traveling don’t expect to take anything with you. 3. More just thought the basics, not really thought to make anything special. But the teacher was really nice.

They were a no show!

Thomas_T, Aug 2025
We traveled half hour into main square in heat of day and they were a no show. Took up whole part of day! Very disappointed!

Response from Host, Aug 2025

Dear guest, We are truly sorry for the inconvenience you experienced and would like to clarify what happened. Your booking was processed by the system as a last-minute reservation, which unfortunately did not allow us sufficient notice to prepare in the usual way. Even so, our team did attend the location and offered you several alternatives so you could still enjoy the experience. These options were declined, and we immediately processed a full refund in person at the workshop, as confirmed in our records and in our security camera footage. We regret that the situation prevented you from enjoying the class, and we also want to reassure future travelers that our team takes all confirmed bookings very seriously. We are a small local workshop that values each guest and does everything possible to honor every reservation. We hope to welcome you another time under better circumstances. Sincerely, TIWONA – Pottery Workshop Barcelona

Not great for the clueless

SARAH_C, Mar 2025
Great if you have some experience or natural artistic talent already. But if you're like me and don't have an artistic bone in your body, it's not an optimal experience. They're nice at the center and help out somewhat, but I would have appreciated some more technique guidance to learn it better so I could have enjoyed the experience more.

Disaster, they don't teach anymore, the reservation is not viable.

Natalia_G, Mar 2026
A disaster, we showed up to the activity on time and they did not have the reservation or had received payment from viator, and we were informed that the place (born) had not taught ceramics for 1 month and that the active site (although they did not work with viator) was in poble nou. The organized team/company activity was left in total failure, with 12 people wanting to enjoy a team activity that ultimately could not be done. The worst thing was that from Viator I was contacted confirming that the activity could not be lathe, but it could be ceramic by hand (after, according to them, having validated with the Tiwona company that it was possible). Total uncoordination and disaster.
