- If you come from Barcelona the best option is to take the high speed trains AVANT. They last only 35 minutes to Girona city and are very comfortable. There is about 20 minutes on foot to our meeting point. We recommend to buy the tickets in advance beause this kind of trains are usually crowded.
- Please note: Girona is situated on a hill and has lots of stairs and slopes. If you have any difficulty to walk in these areas, they may not make this tour. Not recommended for people who need wheelchairs.

We were the only 2 people in the tour. It was a very crowded day, so it was difficult to hear Ona's commentary. It was easier once we got into the Cathedral and the Basilica because there were no crowds. We thought the price for this tour a bit expensive for what we did. Maybe it was the cost of the tickets. We did 2 more of your tours after this, and we enjoyed them more.

What a great tour!!! Our guide was so knowledgeable and she had so many recommendations for after the tour. There is no way we would have found all the historic sites and spots if we didn’t have a guide. If you can do a small group or private tour it’s 10000 percent worth it. We saw huge groups that had no time to do anything, couldn’t interact with their guides and took up the tiny streets walking in groups of 30-50 it was crazy.
You can’t go wrong with this tour and company 👏👏👏

Michael was beyond knowledgeable plus a true local. Still living in the area he included the changes in Girona. We learned so much on this tour it was our favorite in Spain. Plus Girona is beautiful beyond words.

We had a wonderful morning in Girona with Ona—she was very accommodating when our first train from Barcelona was canceled and we had to start the tour about 10 minutes late. She very quickly learned our interests and focused on those interests throughout the tour. She gave us wonderful recommendations for things to do around town following our tour as well. We would highly recommend this Tour!

This was a fantastic and fascinating tour! My guide was named Susanna, and she was very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable about the history of Girona, Catalonia, and all of Spain. I highly recommend this tour since you will undoubtedly learn interesting things that you never would have known by going it on your own. Afterwards, having gained your bearings, you can then go back and delve deeper into the aspects of Girona that interest you the most. Highly recommended!

We had a great guide -- absolutely charming and knowledgeable. Because of the steep hills in Girona, my wife could only do part of the tour. When she returned to the hotel, the guide and I continued. Because of the situation, she must have made some modifications, since we did not go inside any buildings. I had hoped to go inside at least one place in the Jewish Quarter, such as the museum. As I understand, there is no synagogue if there was one, I would have appreciated a brief visit. Still, I would recommend this tour for an overall understanding of old-town Girona in general and the Jewish Quarter in particular.

We spent the morning exploring Girona with Marc. He met us at the train station and entertained us with the city's history and legends for the next 3 hours. He was an excellent guide - knowledgeable, charming and enthusiastic! We learned a ton and felt our time in Girona was successful it is a beautiful fascinating city that has fabulous food, great stores to shop and is an easy day trip from Barcelona. I highly recommend this walking tour with Marc.
