Joan was a terrific guide. He was very knowledgeable with wine and passionate for the region. The scenery was terrific, the wines we tasted were fantastic and the lunch at Clos Figeroas was 10 out of 10. If you are in the Barcelona area and love wine this is a can’t miss tour.

Joan did an amazing job as our driver and level 3 Somm! He told us about the wineries and recommended how long to lay the bottles down. If I was going to do wine tasting outside of Barcelona, I would highly recommend him. He took great care of us!

Ivan was a fantastic guide! We had a fun and educational day at 3 very different wineries, to see everything from larger to micro environment. Priorat is the only other DOQ in Spain other than Rioja, and the wine supports that. The tasting and lunch at Clos Figueras was exceptional. Stopping at the monastery and Roman ruins was an unexpected bonus. Definitely recommend this trip!

We have participated in numerous winery tours in various parts of the world and this one ranked very close to the top of the list! First of all, Ivan was pleasant, knowledgeable, prompt and creative. We got lucky and the tour was just the 3 of us in our family, so essentially a private tour was fantastic. The 3 wineries we went to were perfectly chosen -- small, intimate, family-oriented, unique. And then the bonuses of an olive oil tasting, lunch, and a quick tour of a monastery really rounded out the experience. This is the real deal!

Ivan was a wonderful tour guide and curated a wonderful selection of wineries for us to visit from big to small, and more “traditional” vs modern approaches. The wine was fantastic, transportation was comfortable, and an all-around splendid day.
One of the best tours I’ve been on as he was able to weave knowledge about the region and its history in with the amazing food and wine that day. If you are looking for a trip to priorat and love wine, this is your winner.

This was an amazing wine tour and I will be recommending it to everyone! I’ve been on numerous wine tours globally, and this was the best. Ivan has customised a fantastic day and is a top notch tour guide. From pick up to drop, it was a seamless trip and lots of fun. The wine tastings were excellent and offered a great opportunity to taste the expression of priorat. The restaurant is also very good and not what you’d expect from a wine tour being as high quality.

Ivan gave us a most individual trip, we have been to the area before but this trip took us right to the heart of the area, speaking to people involved in the industry not just a person dealing with visitors. The visit to the biodynamic vineyard was amazing, standing within those vines was so peaceful and we could really sense how at one with nature they were. An excellent day throughout with a wonderful guide - Ivan looked after us really well and was very obliging, I am so glad we booked this it made our holiday.
