What To Expect

Meet your expert guide with a private pickup from your Barcelona hotel and venture onward to Montseny for a day hike to the top of the mountain, situated in the Catalan coastal range approx. 5,580 feet (1,701 meters) above sea level.

After the 1-hour drive to the Montseny Nature Reserve, you’ll discover rich vegetation on a 5.5-hour moderate trek that covers roughly 7 miles (12 km) through the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. During the ascent up Turó de l'Home, follow your guide along different paths through forests of beech and spruce, passing by mountain springs and streams along the route.

You’ll visit three geographical regions of the Montseny massif, including Les Agudes and Matagalls. Immerse in the Mediterranean environment of the lowlands before passing through oak woodlands and finding meadows at the summit. Learn from your guide about the large number of fauna species as well as the significant historical and cultural value of this magnificent landscape.
