The small group size made the experience more intimate and friendly. In fact, three of us had drinks together afterwards! A little more time at Carrieres de Lumieres would be nice, just because it is so amazing.

The tour is a perfect opportunity to follow in the footsteps of Vincent Van Gogh around Arles. We were next carried away to the heart of art by the digital, immersive exhibition in a former limestone quarry at Carrières de Lumiéres. It was a great half-day experience, and our guide was informative and engaging.

Fred is a knowledgeable, professional,pleasant guide. We liked him a lot..
Despite the cold rains, we managed an interesting afternoon.
Fred was willing to take us to bucket list Arles venues and even loaned me his cardigan sweater.and umbrella …. we were under dressed due to wrong weather reports.. Even hearty Canadians get cold.!
His Impressive cultural & architectural knowledge much appreciated..

I had a wonderful time. Our group is small with me a solo travelers and two other ladies so we were able to take it slow and the guide (Thierry?) gave us amble time at each stop. He is very knowledgeable about Vincent Van Gogh and makes us feel at ease with the way he guides us through each observing point. Carrières de Lumières was magnificent and again, we were given enough time to watch the whole show. I had so much fun as a solo traveler and I felt very bad that I forgot to leave tips as the driving back to Avignon was so comfortable that I got very sleepy and just wanted to head back to my airbnb. So 5 stars from me and thank you for an enjoyable experience.

Excellent guide Jacques led our small group through the Van Gogh places. Really nice to see those places and beyond. Amazing multimedia show in Carrieres des Lumieres, really worth to see and we had enough time, as we were very flexible. Time flied so quickly. Merci.

Jacques was a perfect guide, knowledgeable and kind, and let us linger for longer than the tour should have lasted and showed us special places upon request that we were interested in seeing. 10/10 wonderful day discovering Provence through the eyes of Van Gogh.

Had like slight miscommunication with tour agency but was al good and sorted. We were lucky to have our own private tour with Jacq. Weather also wasn't great. Guides english isn't greatest, but good enough to have conversation and make it interesting. Has pleasant manner and knowledgable about region and sights in area. Started with Van Goh tour visiting sights of note in Arles, but highlight was definitely Carrieres des Lumieres worth it just by itself, all other hack tours didn't have this incorporated so super glad with this decision. Ended tour at small village Les Baux with picturesque views of valley and some interesting little shops, we didn't spend long here but use it for some photo ops. Then drop off back at hotel, he even offered to drop us off at papel palace super nice guy.

Great trip with Julian and he gave us extra time which is definitely needed. Would have been nice to go to the Van Gogh shop at the hospital but it was closed for lunch?
