Travel south through the vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, one of France's most famous appellations, located in the Rhône Valley. Marvel at the rolling vineyards that produce varietals such as cinsault, grenache, and syrah.
Upon arrival in the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, enjoy tastings at two different wineries. Learn about the region’s rich viniculture and terroir, and taste a selection of red and white fine wines.

The wineries were lovely, the driver was very pleasant and the van was nice and roomy. However, for a small tour we had to wait half an hour for an other tour van to arrive at the second winery before they would start the tour. We were left milling around in their shop with no real interaction with staff or guide.

This was a wonderful tour. Our guide was well-informed, charming, and funny. The tour was informative with great tastings, but not overwhelming or exhausting. Bring snacks (crackers or something) because there are none on the tour.

It was a great afternoon with a really good guide who managed to mix history, humour and knowledge all into a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Martine was great . The 2 tastings were good but the first definitely was better. I’d definitely recommend doing this tour instead of going to a wine area as complicated as Chateau NDP by yourself.

My guide Francisco was awesome and provided such a great tour experience. We covered a lot of ground in Nice and I learned a lot of great historical from him.
With the current heat wave, it was such a great way to get around the city and it was fun learning how to use the segway. A must do tour if you visiting Nice.

The tour was absolutely fantastic. It was exactly as advertised. Our guide, Emile, was early, very nice, fluent in English and most importantly, extremely knowledgeable. We visited two amazing wineries and the people there were amazing, the tastings were amazing, and the explanation of local history was amazing. It was a very relaxing and serene experience and I can’t give it high enough ratings! I plan to come back with other family members. Also, if this is your first time in Avignon, it is a gem of a town. So peaceful and quiet with amazing quaint restaurants around every corner. Magnifique!!
