We had the best afternoon lavender tour with Thierry! He went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful outing and was so much fun to chat with. Lots of knowledgeable and all around such a nice person. It was a great day!

Make sure that there have not been drought conditions before you book. The fields were a tad underwhelming, but the trip was fun. Great guide.

Our guide Frederic is very nice and helpful!
However, the tour date can’t be changed even with the severe weather condition (the day we visited had a thunderstorm warning), would recommend to book the trip on the travel date or few days in advance in the tourist center, price also cheaper there.

David is an excellent tour guide who gave a great introduction to lavender, Sault and Gordes. The van is with adequate air conditioning. And thanks to David who drove safely, we have enjoyed a cozy trip. Some of the lavenders have been harvested already, so I think it’d be better if we come earlier. We visited in late July.

Not sure whether this year is not a good year for lavender sightseeing, but most of the lavender fields looked kind of light purple, nothing like what you see in postcards or some of the pictures on the internet. These four pictures were taken on July 10th in Sault. As you can see, the colors are not so impressive. That being said, the tour itself is good. The only thing that I would like to change is that less time spent at the lavender distillery. Overall, it’s an efficient way to see lavender fields without a car.

The tour guide was so nice! The van was a little bit hot because there were 7 of us in a van. But the tour was amazing!:)

Although all lavender fields were cut off already, Marie made it her mission to find us the very last one -and she succeeded! We had a great afternoon with here discovering the region.

Boring of the trip, lavendar field too small. Vehicle aircon very hot. Not worth it........
*how do you expect us to locatd the driver guide without signboard, without name tag.....

Nicolas was the best guide ever! He is such a nice guy, always paying attention to their guests needs. He planned the tour with us before leaving to enjoy it better!! Nicolas told us a lot of interesting things about lavanders fields and really made our day

Our morning tour has been confirmed but then cancelled by the company without any notification! We have found out it is cancelled only after contacting them at 11 pm (during the day and the evening they were not picking up the phone) to actually confirm the pickup location.
Awful service, please avoid! There is a plenty of other companies who would treat you better

A wonderful afternoon tour of the lavender fields, distillery and lavender ice cream in a beautiful area.

I have fully experienced Lavender during this tour - Sight, Smell, Hear, Feel and Taste (yes thumbs up for lavender ice cream). Our tour guide, Nicolas, is very great and knowledgeable about the lavender, the village of Sault and Avignon as whole. We get to learn MORE than we expect to. I would highly recommend this tour especially our tour guide Nicolas. Can’t wait to come back.

The tour description was as follows:

This tour did NOT visit neither Sault NOR a local lavender farm!!! Instead, we visited Roussillon (which I have visited on another tour as planned).
This was very disappointing and I want to be refunded since neither of the 2 sites that I wanted to visit was on the program as advertised.

great way to discover Luberon area, kind tour operator, we were always in time and she dropped us down where we asked.

The tour was a bit too rush.
As it is named as a Lavender Fields Tour, I would expect more time in the lavender fields, but turn out only 10 mins in one lavender field, then rush to another field for 10 mins. I would prefer they skip the villages, and just stay in the fields to admire the views and smell the lavenders.

A great tour - lovely French scenery. Four of us took the TGV from Lyon to Avignon TGV station where we were picked up by our guide Thierry. We did 2 more pick ups then off to the countryside. Thierry was extremely knowledgeable and although we asked him a question he didn't know the answer to immediately - as soon as he could he got us the answer. The lavender fields were just magnificent but the whole area is spectacular - a well worth trip to get a real good feel of the French countryside. Gold star to Thierry

Our driver Florine was great and I'd recommend the tour.

Due to a disease, apparently, we saw no big fields of lavender in the first half. All were just cut and dried out. Not very interesting and it seemed like endless driving around. The second half was better and we saw lavender. I would have preferred to drive out, see the village of Sault a little longer and the come back the by same road instead of the circular route. That would have meant more time to see lavender fields, which is what we paid for. It could have been better if the itinerary was more flexible to cater for the situation.

The guide was very friendly, helpful and humorous. He took care of every traveller. The path that he guided us is very interesting. He explained everything in a good way.

The tour started promptly. Surprisingly we had a full house in the 8 seater. The van was very comfortable for all of us. One request though, it would be better if the driver/guide Eric had some sort of a microphone so that he could talk to all of us without shouting or taking his eyes off the road.
He was very nice and took us to some fantastic places .. the Lavenders were in bloom far in Sault when we were there but he made sure we went to the best fields and had great picture opportunities.
As advertised, this tour is about Lavenders and only lavenders. The halts at Gordes and Sault village was very brief 10-15 minutes so that we could spend more time in Lavender fields. We could see Senanque Abbey from far off since there was not time !!
However, we were in this tour for Lavenders and we did the most possible in 5 hours. If you really want to spend time in Gordes and Sault and Lavender Museum etc. it is better to take a full day tour. But then that will be tiring !!
Great tour concept for those who only want to see Lavenders !!
