Yanis was knowledgeable about the area and a good driver. We went to 3 lavender fields (including the abbey) and had time to walk around Roussillon. We made a quick stop for pictures in Gordes. The lavender was in bloom & beautiful! This was a wonderful way to see multiple areas in a short time.

It was well worth it. The places we went were gorgeous! The aroma of the lavender fields was amazing. Our guide was really fun.

Fantastic tour! We’re able to walk into several beautiful lavender fields. Our tour guide/driver Yanis was very helpful and knowledgeable. Overall it’s a great experience.

This is an excellent tour. Our guide, Emilie, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and chatty. She made the trip so much better. The trip itself is a great whistle stop tour, but it's a whistle stop tour only. I would have liked to spend more time in these places, but I can always go back.

A lovely trip with a nice group and a knowledgeable guide. Roussillon is lovely, the Senaque abbey is out of this world, lavender fields are everything you'd expect and more. And you get to see a lot of beautiful nature in between the stops.

The ride was comfortable, the tour guide was quite nice.. the visit to the Lavender fields was not as expected.. i thought we would visit a proper farm and get a proper tour, but we just stopped randomly at any field, and were asked to take our pictures before the owner saw us

We had a great tour guide who was very knowledgeable and friendly. Whilst we managed to visit four beautiful locations, it would have been good to have more time at each place. We appreciate that time for travelling between locations needs to be taken into account, but it did feel rushed at times. Overall, good to see the wonderful sights of Avignon!

Nice tour. Great views and vistas. Rousillon and Gordes. Early June is a bit too soon to get the full effect of the lavender fields, but still quite beautiful. Last part of June would make it great. Good price sport on value.

Purchased based on description. Actual tour was spending 30 minutes at a petro station, 20 minutes at a lavender field, an hour at a city not mentioned in the description. Very disappointed.

Overall the trip was very good. The trip was well led and the areas visited beautiful. Sadly it was one of the few days in France during our stay where the weather was really bad. So towns like Rousillon and Gourdes that are beautiful were wet and miserable and there was a lot of mist around.

The guide was very friendly and on the way to the fields he spoke about the history of Avignon. When we got to the valley he spoke about the start of the farming community that lives there. We had more than enough time to wander around the lavender factory and then we went to the fields. Not once were we rushed and the tour guide even offered to help take our photos. It was raining on and off so we finished the fields quickly voluntarily and headed to the town of Sault. He gave us the option to stay in the town longer or to go to another field after the town, which was super nice. Thankfully it wasn't raining when we went to another field that he found so we were all able to get our pictures! Late July maybe wasn't the best time to go as much of the lavender was harvested but the guide made sure we still got to see great fields.

We travelled from Switzerland specifically to go on a lavender tour. We selected Viatour because we have had many positive experiences in the past. However, we found ourselves on what appeared to be a non-Viator tour. We were waiting at the designated meeting place and the tour guide did not appear until after we had called the office. The tour guide (Jerome) then asked us to describe the itinerary of our trip. We were quite surprised about this. He did not know that we were supposed to visit Senaque Abby during the tour. We set off 15 minutes late and the timing throughout the trip was neither precise nor clear. We visited a traditional lavender distillery which was very enjoyable, but not part of the original itinerary. We did not spend any time visiting any of the villages mentioned in the tour description and we were allotted 2 minutes to take a photo of Senaque Abby. We did have the opportunity to visit three lavender fields in close proximity which was very enjoyable. Overall, the tour felt very rushed and some of the promised activities were omitted.
We would have appreciated being told the tour was not run by Viator.

Enjoyed the three stops for lavender fields on the morning excursion. Jérôme was friendly and took our photos. Unfortunately, the Senanque Abbey was closed, so we couldn't enter. Wished the tour could be an hour longer, so we could have time to visit another village (besides Roussillon). Pleasant tour overall!

Jean was really helpful throughout the whole tour. The tour shoes you the essentials of the area. Jean had a great knowledge of the sights and was extremely helpful throughout the entire experience. The Abbey was not in full bloom but it was still great to see. Overall a fantastic opportunity to see the fields and get all the insight knowledge.

This was a wonderful tour. One of the fields was beautifully in bloom, However the lavender was not in bloom at the abbey. I think the tour guide should give the option of not going to the abbey, if not in bloom. The only reason to go to the abbey is for the Lavender view. An option of staying longer in the hilltown of Rousillion would have made the tour perfect. Rousillion was magical and we did not have nearly enough time there. I am so glad I booked this tour and would recommend.

I wish I had done the full day tour. Everything feels rushed to make it back to Avignon within 5 hours. I think if the tour said 6 hours and we were given additional 15-20 minutes per town/village it would have been perfect. I would pay a little extra for a little extra time in each town. But other than that, this tour delivered everything it promised. If I had the time I would do the full day tour, well worth the extra time and money. But if you're in a rush and just need to see some places, then this is perfect for you.

It was a terrible tour and a complete waste of time. In fact, it wasn’t a tour. The guide was more like a driver. He dropped us here and there and said he would be back in 45 min. He barely spoke English. He said the microphone in the van was broken. I would NOT recommend this tour to anyone and, in fact, I am a user of Viator a not and I don’t think I will use them anymore (after the tour we have scheduled for tomorrow) VERY disappointing!

The description of this tour has changed since I booked and paid for our family of four. It use to say the morning tour was 4 hours and afternoon tour was five hours because it also included a stop at the Lavender Museum which we really wanted to see. That didn't happen. Now I go back and see that the verbiage has been changed and both morning and afternoon are five hours. Our tour did not last five hours. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable and dropped us at the parking garage at the conclusion. I don't feel this is the guide's fault. Viator had one description of the tour and the tour guide had other instructions from his local company. First time not entirely happy with Viator.

I can’t say enough great things about this wonderful tour. It was gorgeous, charming and fragrant, and easily the best 5 hours we’d spent. From start to finish the tour was conducted in an organized and timely manner. Our tour guide, whose very French name I do not remember how to spell, was informative and kept the mood light. The most important part was that the company was able to provide a car seat for my 20 month year old son 😊 Please if you are in Provence make this tour be part of your itinerary💜💜💜💜
