Ted is a fantastic tour guide! He arrived on time to pick us up from our Airbnb with complimentary snacks and postcards with photos he's personally taken around Greece. (He's a fantastic photographer, too - be sure to ask him to take photos of your visit!) Our itinerary: the Hosios Loukas monastery; Delphi; lunch in Arachova. The drives were very pleasant: the van was comfortable and Ted could converse about not only ancient Greek history but also about modern-day Greece/current events (which was welcome since tourists tend to only get "history lessons"). Ted was kind and professional; we highly recommend Athens Experiences!

We took the day tour to Delphi and it was perfect. Our driver Ted was extremely courteous, very knowledgeable of history and culture and he made iit very enjoyable by customizing our stops according to our needs. He was punctual and his van was very nice and clean. Excellent driving skills. I highly recommend this tour

Thanks to Ted, we had an amazing time visiting Delphi. Private tour is definitely the way to go as we were able to take our time to see what we wanted. The views were amazing but be prepared to walk up up the hill and back down again. We had plenty of time to take as many photos and take in the sights. On ride back to Athens, we were able to get an incredible view of the nearby town as well as visit a beautiful monastery.
The drive to Delphi was a couple hours from Athens but since Ted was so friendly and knowledgeable, the ride was very comfortable and not the least bit awkward. Ted confirmed our hotel pickup and time a few days prior to our trip and had arrived a few minutes early that morning. So we didn't feel anxious about getting picked up or not. We appreciated Ted so much we asked him to take us to the airport on our last day in Athens!

We had a wonderful day on the Delphi tour. Andreas our tour guide was great! Our day started off when he picked us up from the hotel, then we went to the Delphi archeological site and museum, and then the small town of Delphi. Andreas stopped at Arachova and let us out to go eat and explore the town. He was a great tour guide and made 2 in a half hours go by so fast. For this tour it was private and most people would think it's expensive but it is totally worth it and I highly recommend it. We were comfortable in the van, we were able to talk to our tour guide, and he even provided us with water!

We had a wonderful time with our guide, Ted. He shared a lot about the history and recent culture of Greece on the way up from Athens and back. The van is very comfortable. The stop at the monastery was beautiful. In retrospect, we could have used more time there. Ted found us a great lunch spot just north of the ruins area, with an amazing mountainside view. Delphi itself was fascinating. The accompanying museum is informative. Be prepared for some significant uphill hiking. Also bring plenty of sunscreen and water if the weather is warm and/or sunny because there is very little shade at the site.

Ted was very nice and prompt. The trip to Delphi was comfortable and he even added a stop at a Monastery from the 11th century. The tour at Delphi was self guided and once complete Ted was there to take us back to Athens.

I had an excellent tour of Delphi and I loved the visit to Hosios Loukas. Our tour guide was informative and helpful as he drove us around, and we were able to easily return to the cruise ship in time prior to departure. Great day in Greece!

Every part of this tour was worthwhile! We really enjoyed our time in Arachova. The meal we ate in town felt like it was home-cooked Greek good. Ted went beyond with his customer service. He was very kind with our 9-year old daughter.

Ted, the tour guide and driver was excellent with history (Athensexperiences.com). It was a very enjoyable tour for family of 6. We stopped at Arachova village & had lunch there. It is a nice small town with a great view. Delphi archaeological site & museum was superb as well. We also stopped at a Byzantine monastry, 1000 yr old, which was superb.

We spent the day with Ted, the best tour guide in Greece! He not only drove us there and back, but was part of our day with conversation and education. You can do many tours, but few will be as thoughtfully planned out as this one, plus you get the added benefit of asking all of the questions you've had since arriving in Greece (e.g. Why do the Greeks call themselves Hellas? Why are the mountain towns built on the slopes and not on the flat areas?) Ted can answer them all. If we had known he did airport transfers, you can be sure we would have booked that with him as well. Next time!
