Aaron was a fantastic, knowledgeable guide who showed us many interesting things in Amsterdam which we would never have noticed on our own.
Aaron also was nice enough to walk us most of the way to our next destination.
It was a great experience and we highly recommend.

This was an extremely important and timely tour. We learned a great deal. It was also a great background for the Anne Frank House tour we took later that day. Everyone should know about the things covered.

Anthony was an incredibly knowledgeable guide. He pointed out all of the important parts of the old Jewish quarter and we learned a lot. This tour is sobering but important. Note that it does not include tickets to the Anne Frank house.

For us as Canadian Jews who were born in Germany and Poland, it was a very meaningful tour. What happened to our Jewish brethren hit us personally. It showed us something that we had not known: i.e. that the Nazis could not have killed so many of our people without the Dutch collaborators who sold Jewish lives for money!

James has captured the Jewish history, especially during the tumultuous 1940s, and skillfully transmits it in a heartfelt way. My wife and I were so impressed that we visited two of his suggested sites after the tour.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable.
He showed us sites that we may well have missed. He related really well with all participants and given the nature of some of the sites he checked in on our wellbeing.
The tour was good value for money and instructions were very clear.

Our tour guide Aaron is an Irish native who was a history major. While he has only lived in Amsterdam for a few years, he has extensive knowledge of the Jewish history of the Netherlands. He communicated it well and with sensitivity. He took us to significant sites. The highlight was the Holocaust memorial wall with the names of the 102,000 Jews from the area who were killed.
gary_l, Sep 2024
Aaron was very knowledgeable and brought that information to the tour. He has a good personality and was a pleasure to tour with.
