What a beautiful, fun, and delicious night this was! I highly recommend this experience. Pedro was a great guide and shared interesting information, doing it with great humour and ease. When he picked us up at our apartment there was a group of amazing women in the jeep already and we clicked with them all right away. We chatted and laughed so hard the whole night. Each place we went to really celebrated our joy and joined in on the fun. Food and wine with dinner were delicious, with loads of options, and the cocktail bar we were taken to was wonderful. Take this opportunity to try traditional food and drink, and you’ll thank yourself you did. Thanks, Pedro. We had an amazing time!

An excellent evening in the company of Cody and others. Little local restaurant with no tourists about apart from ourselves. Amazing traditional food and wonderful wines We would not hesitate to recommend this event to others Thanks again Cody.

Traditional Portugese Dinner

This was a great experience our tour guide Cody was phenomenal. We stopped first at local bar and had a cocktail and then walked around the corner to our dinner spot. He explained the dishes and their origins and helped us make selections. I chose the black pork and my sister had the Seabass. Both entrées were out of this world delicious. Dinner was accompanied with white and red wine and ended with a selection of desserts and a shot of espresso. The service was phenomenal as well. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming.. we had pick up and drop off SERVICE and it was well worth the price. Again, Cody the tour guide was a perfect host. This tour is a must experience

An Evening of Food and Conversation

The Portuguese Traditional Dinner and Cocktail Experience was a refreshing departure from typical vacation dining and truly memorable. We shared our meal with our host Cody and part of his lovely family, along with some friendly ladies from Finland, sampling multiple plates and desserts in a wonderfully communal atmosphere that encouraged authentic cultural exchange. The evening began with a fun ride in an open-top 4x4, followed by the delicious traditional Portuguese meal, then transportation to a cocktail bar for a nightcap before being conveniently dropped back at our vehicle. If you're looking to step outside the typical tourist dining scene and connect with both locals and fellow travelers over great food, these two Alaskan travelers can confirm this experience delivers exactly that.
