Joana was very professional and very friendly. She rearranged the tour twice due to bad weather and accommodate an extra tour during the day. Very enjoyable experience with great tapas and wine in a lovely little restaurant.

We were a group of 11 here for a long weekend. The tour was excellent, we enjoyed the walk, the history and finding places we wouldn’t have know about. Our guide and her mother were lovely and the food and restaurant at the end was perfect. We went back the next day to eat too. Highly recommend this tour.

While Albuferia lacks the historical charm of other towns in the Algarve The tour Is excellent in uncovering gems of history which you easily walk by without noticing The guide was great with the right amount of information And a stop for tapas and wine was a nice conclusion

Really enjoyed this fun walking tour with tapas.Catered for me as vegetarian non-drinker & really enjoyed some company for the evening. Start location is a bit confusing from the map- its actually at the bottom of the escalator in Fisherman's Square.

We went on this walking tour on our first day of our holiday, and I am glad that we did because we were taken places that we would probably never have found on our own. Also the tour guide spoke excellent English. We were taken to a small bar/restaurant and tried some food there and that was also good, so much so that we went back there to eat twice while we were there. Recommended.

Ok tour and a nice guide (Joanna). Delicious treats at the end of tour (both wine and Portuguese snacks). A suggestion for improvement: As someone who has been to over 50+ walking tours worldwide (both in small towns like this and big cities), my view is that it would be a better experience if there was a bit more context at the start of the tour (i.e. story of overall Portugal, region, history, even if Albufeira isn't very historically important) and potentially some visual aids (pictures of how it used to look before).

Hi I’m sorry if you find the tour wasn’t good enough for 19 euros, including 1h30 guided tour, with wine and snacks. Thanks for the suggestions of improvement, however this is a tour about the history of our city Albufeira, not of the History of Portugal… but we will try and give more info about Portugal. PS: the tour is through the narrow streets of the old castle, that was once one of the 7 castles on the Portuguese flag. Therefore, Albufeira does have some historical importance… Cody Algarveflashbackholidays
