What are people saying about Osaka

A Japanese perspective
Our guide Yuhey added a local perspective about the sites we visited and about Nippon culture. The little things such as the aroma of the camphor leaves, for example. Best of all, just when we thought we did not like Japanese food, he took us to a restaurant and suggested a variety of items based on earlier conversations regarding our likes and dislikes. We absolutely loved that meal! That meal changed our perspective of Japanese food. At the end of the tour, we felt like we were leaving a family member.

A fabulous day in Kyoto!
We had the absolute best guide - Keiran! Yes, the pick up was easy, the bus driver was careful, the bus was comfortable, and the sights were perfect in capturing Kyoto in a day. BUT what made the experience so extraordinary was our guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, provided excellent recommendations on food and omiyage, and went out of his way to lend his expertise on our travels. So blessed to have him lead our special day in a very special city!

A Morning with the Deer
We were the only party of the group so it was like a personal guide. The pick up point was relatively easy to find and having had a previous WhatsApp message made life really easy. Our guide Moe was a lovely young lady passionate about Nara park and the wider Japanese culture and traditions. She provided excellent detail for each temple and shrine and clearly had an affinity with the whole area. Her caring nature for the narure was clearly demonstrated when she spotted a deer trying to eat a coffee cup. She went across and quickly grabbed it off the deer to prevent any issues. We had a truly marvelous morning and Moe just made it that much more memorable.

Old meets new in Osaka, where you’ll find Japan’s first official temple alongside some of the most modern food, fashion, and entertainment in the country. Make sense of the contrasts by following a local guide around the city, from the neon lights of Dotonbori to the retro arcades of Shinsekai and the peaceful cherry blossom park around Osaka Castle. Food is a major draw here, which is why many Osaka tours highlight the historic Kuromon food market and nearby kitchenware district.
