Excellent half day bike tour around Taipei.

An excellent 4 hour guided bike tour around Taipei with our knowledgeable guide Zak from Taipei Bike Works, taking in many sights including the Chiang Kai Chek Memorial, inside several temples, a typical Taiwanese breakfast, the changing of the guard, and along the river path. Zak succinctly summarised the history of Taiwan and gave us many insights into significant events past, present, and future.

Good wholesome tour for a city break!

Low key, chill vibe. Good to escape the city for the afternoon. Small group was nice. Walked around a viewing area of the lake. Saw some tea farms. I didn't know much about how tea was made before this tour so it was very informative. Cool smallish museum stop. I loved the tea shop and the owners demonstration. We got to try 3 different teas. Side note- no food so make sure to eat a good lunch before.

Pauline was a great tour...

Pauline was a great tour guide. I was impressed as she did everything in English, Mandarin, and Japanese throughout the day. This is a long day, Pauline gives you history at each stop, and more importantly calls out which food vendors to try and which ones to skip. Would definitely recommend this tour if Pauline is in charge!

Tour Guide Steven was great!

Our guide, Steven, was friendly, very organized, and communicated prior to our tour with a schedule and what to bring. We scheduled our pickup at noon in order to see the sunset at Jiufen. It was very crowded there and you'll ascend about 200 stairs to get to the main street. We only did the first view of the falls; if you want to go to additional viewpoints, consider an 11 am pickup. Steven was a safe and efficient driver. We're on our 70s and he was very considerate of our abilities. He knew how to get us around with in sites efficiently as well. Plus, he was a great photographer! He answered every question we had about the sites and about Taiwan in general. We were very happy with our tour and our time spent with Steven. The Geopark was unique and interesting and the lantern launch was great fun. nyone going with him will be very fortunate!

An Amazing Day with an Exceptional Driver

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolutely wonderful tour experience! We booked this tour last minute, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better driver! From the very beginning, Hicks Wang was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. He made our entire day feel effortless and enjoyable. One of the biggest challenges for us was finding food because we are vegan, but he went above and beyond to help us find suitable vegan options and made sure we were able to enjoy local foods without having to worry. He was also amazing at taking photos! He knew all the best spots and angles for photos and patiently helped us capture beautiful memories throughout the day. We got some of our favorite travel photos thanks to him. He even surprised us by buying us local fruit to try, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch. It really showed how much he cared about making sure we had a great experience. He was knowledgeable, warm, flexible, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. Even though we booked at the last minute, he made us feel like everything was perfectly planned. We highly recommend this tour and especially our driver guide Hicks! Great day trip in Taipei mixed with nature and old town markets

Fantastic tour!

My fiancé and I love to go on walking food tours when we travel to a new place and this was one of our favorite tours we have experienced. Every single stop had delicious food and big portions - we were so full by the end. Our tour guide Dave was very knowledgeable about the food and local culture, and gave us some additional recommendations for activities to do and other food to eat while in Taipei and they were all fantastic recs (e.g. Maokong Gondola and tea houses, Simple Kaffa coffee with incredible views in Taiwan 101, and the best fan tuans we have ever had). Dave is the best!

Must do if short on time

Absolute best experience showcasing beautiful sights of Taipei if you’re short on time. Our family of 4 (incl. 2 teenagers) thoroughly enjoyed every stop of the half-day tour and learn about the history. The Sky Lantern was the best! Our tour guide + driver, Mr. Ken, was the epitome of professionalism mixed with kindness, fun and knowledge. He expertly navigated the traffic and managed our tour so that we would maximize our time at every stop. Great experience by our Yolo Tour Guide Chiao Chiao as she guided us through Taiwan’s religious, historical, memorial, cultural and industrial achievements that helped make Taiwan become an independent country. Great tour

This was a private tour, actually I was the only one in the tour. Caleb was my tour guide and he was awesome. Very knowledgeable about sites, history and everything in-between. Taroko gorge is amazing and we visited as much as was possible given the construction repairs after the earthquake (about 3 years ago). I highly recommend it!

Edison tours is an excellent tour company. Teresa greeted me at the meet point when she saw me walk up, I did not have to ask her. Teresa is great. Jenny, my tour guide was very knowledgeable. She is from Taipei and knew the history of the places we visited from personal experience. Jenny pointed out sites in the Yangmingshan National Park that I would never have seen on my own, or with any other tour group. I recommend Viator and Edison tours to everyone!
