Best day in Kyoto!

Naoko was a great guide and had perfect English. We paid the bit extra for pickup at our hotel. We were able to see more than we thought possible in our full day with Naoko. Since our date was a local holiday she suggested a few quieter stops to avoid the more crowded areas. We started at the Kinkaku-ji Temple and took great photos before the crowds arrived. We squeezed in the 1001 statues at the Sanjusangen-do temple which was incredible, and skipped a very crowded temple. We enjoyed the beautiful and cool Bamboo forest, the tranquil Tenryu-ji temple, and the Kimono forest on the way to the Togetsukyo bridge with all the little row boats. The Fushimi Inari-Taisha Shrine with the thousand Tori gates was an incredible experience also. We had a wonderful day and explored more locations than we thought possible. Naoko was a treasure of knowledge and her possitive personality made the day the best of our few days in Kyoto. Would highly recommend this to everyone with only a few days in Kyoto.

Perfect Tour to Understand the Geisha Culture

Was not sure about this tour but it turned out to be excellent and was just what we were looking for. The tour provided a short Geisha performance at a tea house and was so unique because the experience provided an opportunity to do a Q&A with the geisha to understand the geisha culture. Then we walked to nearby temple with the geisha to learn more about the culture and history. It was the perfect tour and the right length.

Olive as a tour guide was wonderful

The tour with Olive was very informative. She met us @ our hotel lobby & prepared a taxi service that stayed with us throughout our tour. Olive always asked if we were comfortable with the climate of the car & her translation of historical sites as well as interpretation of the dining menu when we had lunch at an exceptional Sushi restaurant via her recommendation. Olive gave us the option of returning us to our hotel or allowing us to stay out on the town after the tour. We elected to stay in the shopping area & easily took our own cab back to the hotel. Wonderful day trip.

Worth it experience

This was 100% worth the money, got to see so many places around Kyoto in an easy hassle free day, the meeting point was very easy to find and the trip was very well organised, our guide At-chan is quite possibly the most positive and enthusiastic person I’ve ever met, she was full of life and was the sweetest to talk to and had everyone engaging, she really made this day special for everyone. I would highly recommend this to anyone of all ages and physical levels, just wear comfortable shoes for easy walking.

This tour out of Kyoto made visiting Nara easy and stress-free. Moe was a fantastic guide: knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and great at sharing the history behind each stop. Even in a group, the day felt friendly and well paced, with plenty of time with the deer. I would recommend booking the earliest available time as these attractions get very crowded.

Impressive tour

It's an amazing tour! We got all including tour except for lunch. An agent met us at Osaka train station, very easy to find, accompanied us to the train and our full day guide Joe met us after exiting the train station in Hiroshima. The smart part of the trip was that we first went to Miyajima Island by ferry to see Torii ref gate in the water because later the water goes away and the gate will be on the sand. Unless you wanna go to restaurants and see night view, the gate shrine is definitely more impressive during the day. Lunch on the island is amazing because it's known for large pacific oysters and lots of clean restaurants and street food. We had over 2 hour free time to go around shop and eat. Later we went to Hiroshima for history

Beautiful Tea Ceremony in Kyoto

Tucked into a quiet courtyard on a busy Kyoto street, is this perfect tea room. It can be a bit hard to find, so leave a bit of extra time. It is 100% worth the effort to find it. This was such a worthwhile experience, first our host gave us an introduction to the history of the tea cermony and explained what would happen. Then we participated in a tea ceremony and finally we made our our matcha tea. It's just an hour long, but it was the perfect length of time and perfect calm moment in the middle of a busy day!

Such a Fun and Memorable Family Experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We did this experience while visiting Kyoto with our two adult kids, ages 22 and 24, and had such a great time! The food was delicious, and the retired professional sumo wrestlers were lively, entertaining, and genuinely funny. I would recommend going into it knowing that this isn’t meant to be a serious professional sumo match. It’s more like the WWE version of sumo—interactive, playful, and very lighthearted—which made it even more fun for our family. One of the highlights was when our 22-year-old daughter got to put on a sumo costume and actually wrestle one of the sumo wrestlers. It was absolutely hilarious and something we’ll be talking about for a long time! We laughed throughout the evening and had a wonderful time together. Of all the things we did on our family trip to Kyoto, this will definitely be one of the experiences we remember. Highly recommend!

One of the absolute highlights of my 10-day Japan trip!

I had an incredible experience on the Hiroshima and Miyajima Island tour, and I can genuinely say it was arguably the best part of my entire 10-day trip around Japan. Everything was extremely well coordinated from start to finish, which made it so easy to simply enjoy the experience and take in these remarkable places without having to worry about the logistics. A very special mention and huge thank you has to go to our wonderful guide, Azusa or “Arizona, USA” as she jokingly called herself! 😂 She was absolutely brilliant throughout the day. Despite the stifling summer heat, she remained energetic, funny, engaging and incredibly helpful. Her communication was excellent, her explanations were very interesting, and she created such a friendly atmosphere for the entire group. What impressed me most were the little things that went beyond what you would normally expect from a tour guide. At the end of the day, Azusa even went out of her way to help change my ticket so I could catch an earlier train back to Kyoto. She certainly didn't have to do that, but she did and those small acts of kindness and genuine care are exactly what make a travel experience so memorable. Hiroshima and Miyajima themselves were unforgettable, but having such a well organised tour and such a fantastic guide made the experience even more special. Thank you, Azusa, and the entire team for one of my favourite memories from Japan. I would recommend this tour without hesitation. Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
