Definitely recommended and should ask for Mat from Radius Tours

Mat is extraordinarily knowledgeable and very pleasant to understand. He was very patience waiting for us slow folks and we were able to see many parts of the camp. It was a very sad and somber experience to visualize what the prisoners went through. The cremation chambers was horrific. The three hour tour was definitely worth it. Our group size was 18-19 so that was a manageable size to get on the train and bus to get to the memorial which is about 1 hour each way. I would highly recommend taking the tour with a knowledgeable guide.

This Upgraded Tour Was Worth Every Penny

I’m so glad I opted for the VIP experience. It was great. Felt a little rushed at times….but there was a lot to see. Faizan was a great tour guide and Mr.Smiley an excellent driver. We had outstanding weather and that added to the enjoyment. . I wouldn’t hesitate to spend the extra bucks and go the premium route.

Brilliant experience,...

Brilliant experience, very hot day so the air con bus and cold drinks with snacks was a bonus. Lucy was a font of knowledge and regularly checked in with the group. I didn’t manage the grotto but my family did. The walk was a bit steep for reduced mobility individuals and Lucy was lovely on what else I could do. The castles were beautiful. Well worth the VIP price, a long day but worth it.

Fantastic way to see the castle

Good day and well worth the money to go by coach, as I could imagine getting there and navigating it yourself could be stressful. The alpine coaster was a great addition, really fun and broke up the coach trip. Chloe was an enthusiastic and informative guide, who was invaluable in making the day run smoothly. Tour was Excellent!

We debated whether to do this tour on our own since it was fairly easy from old town Munich, but we decided to do the tour. we are so happy we took the tour! Maxine was an excellent guide and has a very pleasant personality. From the time we boarded the train she gave us background information on what we would be seeing and information along the route on sights from the train. Once we arrived, the tour was awesome, and we had plenty of free time to wander and see things on our own. Upon departing, Maxine was very helpful in explaining how to get back to where we wanted to go. Huge thanks to Maxine.

Is it the Castle, period.

Dan was good, his history was a bit all over the place, but you got the gist. We did not know that there was a whole little village of shops and restaurants at the bottom of the mountain. We also did not know where to go once we got off the bus at the top. Prior knowledge to that would have been nice. We did figure it out on our own. The wait for the bus was ridiculous, and I thought we paid for front of the line tour. However, the castle is breathtaking and I highly recommend spending the money to go inside. We went to The Residence in Munich the day before and the Neuschwanstein castle tour guide was 100% better. I recommend visiting the castle period, whichever tour company you prefer.

This is the best tour you will find to these locations

The VIP tour was worth every penny. Courtney was interesting and full of helpful hints. The snacks and free beer at the end were most welcome. Take her advice and take the bus to Mary’s Bridge then walk downhill to the castle. Walk all the way back to the village after the tour. It’s a brutal uphill walk to get back to the bus for a return trip. We loved this excursion- every stop was well planned out and perfectly executed.

Exceptional day tour to castles

Our day trip to Neuschwanstein and Linderhof was a wonderful experience for the teenagers to the grandmother in our party. Sandro, our guide, was exceptional - we learned so much about the history of the beautiful area - his enthusiasm, energy and organization made our tour easy and relaxing. We loved that he took photos of the four of us and his recommendations for restaurants were excellent. Highly, highly urge anyone who wants to have a great day to take this tour with our guide who took care of everything, so we could just enjoy!
