Great castle tour and guide

This is a long but great day! The timing of the trip is good and our guide (Christine) was excellent. We had a beautiful day and this tour was a highlight of our time in Munich. Be sure to wear your best walking shoes and be able to go up and down many stairs and moderate inclines. The bus is great with fewer seats so plenty of room.

Amazing!!!

Jamie was knowledgeable...

Jamie was knowledgeable and helped the group navigate safely and avoid being disrespectful by explaining norms while visiting Dachau. The half day tour was informative and to the point. I did not feel that I personally had enough time to read through all placards like I usually do. If you want to do that, it would probably take a full day or two. Instead I bought the book Jamie suggested to me with all of that information I missed. Much appreciated.

Informative and Moving Tour

Very moving and informative tour conducted by Radius tours. The site is well preserved with lots of historical information posted. Our guide, Connie, did a great job navigating us to to the site by S Bauhn and a very short local bus ride. She was well versed in information about the site and history and provided great commentary. We ere given free time at the end of her tour to go back to area we wanted to revisit on our own.

The Alps and Hitler

Three of us took the Berchtesgaden and Eagles Nest tour. It was just perfect. We had a wonderful driver and our guide Bea is so knowledgeable and her English is excellent. I think doing a food tour...

I think doing a food tour is one of the better ways to experience an unknown city. We have made it a point to do such a tour on the first/second day of arrival to a new place and have always had great experiences, including this one. They allow a great introduction to the city, stress-free trying of new/different foods and we generally come away with helpful recommendations for things to do around the city. Our guide for the Munich tour was Adam Joachim and we enjoyed our time with him. He was knowledgeable, easy to chat with and the tour never felt rushed. I would recommend doing this food tour.

Great tour with kids!

We had a great time on this tour with Dave! Really fun and very organized. We did the coaster and it was the best one ever (we've done several)! The castle views were gorgeous. We didn't do the inside tour and just chilled outside and in town a little. Our kids (10 and 14) have been to a lot of castles, somehow, so they aren't that interested in looking at the interior. The lake at the bottom of the castle is so pretty and we walked in the crystal clear water a little. Don't miss that view. It's just past the bus parking. Great trip! Thanks Dave!

2026 Germany Trip

Elof was phenomenal and very encouraging, as we had to walk a lot and some of the terrain was very steep. He kept us informed and shared some great insights during our bus ride to and from the tour. This is a great tour for anyone who has an interest in the origins of the nationalist socialist party and the third reich. Scott, our tour guide was excellent. His knowledge and ability to bring the story of the uprising of the Nazi party to life was second to none. This was a great way to see parts of the city that we would otherwise have missed. A thoroughly recommended tour.

We had a great day on our tour visiting Neuschwanstein Castle. The Castle is stunning! Well worth the additional admission fee to go inside! Charlie our tour guide was fantastic, so knowledgeable of the local area and knew all his history not just about the Castle and Munich but also about the Bavarian Royal family. We highly recommend this tour and if you are lucky enough to get Charlie as your guide you are sure to be in for a history lesson too!
