What are people saying about Venice

This tour gives great...
This tour gives great insight into the daily life of locals along with historical context. Tomas was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and willing to answer all of our questions and share about his life growing up in Venice. We highly recommend this tour if you are looking for something beyond the typical Venice tours geared toward first time visitors.

Excellent trip and loved the route & towns
Enjoyed the route from Venice. We looked at other routes from other starting locations however, they did not appear as nice as this one. Our guide/driver was Marco, who is from the mountain area and knew it very well. He was very accommodating and informative and did his best to guide us to wonderful viewing and even some walking spots. Our day was a challenge because we ran into some light snow in the upper elevations and Marco adapted us appropriately. The roads were clear so that made this adventure more comfortable for all.

Great Tour Guide! Great tour! Loved Marco!
Marco was fabulous! He was very knowledgeable, entertaining and professional! Great sense of humor. We ended up having bad weather, but Marco made sure we took every opportunity to see as much as we possibly could. He went over and above!
Note: make sure you tip your guide appropriately. We were unaware of the local customs.

Good tour
Very good tour and guide. I learned a lot. I have only 2 suggestions for improvement:
- The guide should carry a more visible flag to help the group follow her around in the crowds.
- Both Viator & City Wonders send too many email and text reminders prior to the tour. Please only send one, unless there's a need to communicate some change.

Dont miss this!
It was a fantastic tour with Roberta! She was so informative and had great historical stories to share. We spent 6 hours touring St. Marks Basciilla and the Doges Palace. She knew so much about the artwork and architecture. The gondola ride included in the tour was relaxing. Roberta also took us in a residential area with narrow winding streets and charming old houses. T here was a lot of walking, so if you have mobility issues, this is not for you!
All in all, a perfect tour!

Beautiful, delicious and fun
Carlo was amazing! We were a party of 5 ages 25-60 and everyone had a fantastic time. The wine was wonderful, the food was delicious, and Carlo was funny and very knowledgeable. And the landscape was picture perfect. I highly recommend as this day trip was a highlight of our vacation.

Spectacular Scenery
We had an amazing day with Stefania who is a knowledgeable guide and shares her passion for the Dolomites. The scenery is jaw-dropping gorgeous at every turn. We enjoyed several photo stops and had extended time in Cortina and Lake Braies. I highly recommend this tour!

Our tour guide was very...
Our tour guide was very friendly, funny and knowledgeable about the history of the sites we visited (Doges Palace and St. Marks Basilica). She also shared interesting info about the painters who created many of the art on the walls and ceilings, and about the materials and processes used in the building and creation of both places.

Time flies when you are having fun! Be flexible, but arrive with a plan in mind.
As it is a private tour, you can set the agenda and pace within the tour’s time limits, of course. It is helpful to know in advance how you would like to spend your time, whether visiting the church, watching a glass demonstration, shopping, or eating, as time passes very quickly. Please note there is no reminder about dress requirements when visiting churches, so it is best to come prepared. Remember to cover your knees and shoulders if you wish to visit religious sites.

Don’t be Afraid of Classical Music
You don’t have to be a classical music lover to enjoy this trip back in time, through music
Traveling for the first time to Italy with friends & family. We thought getting a glimpse of old world Venice through music would be cool and it was. Don’t know anything about classical music but do know a few names of the old composers, Vivaldi is one and seeing how his “The Four Seasons” work is the most famous, and he was from Venice it made sense to go to the performance. We all had a wonderful time and the music was very engaging & lively. I think what really added to the performance, especially if you weren’t a classical music lover, was that the musicians dressed in the costumes of the period. You could imagine yourself in the 18th Century & listening to a concert of Vivaldi. We were looking for something uniquely “Venetian” and this concert fit the bill. Of course it was for “tourists” but it definitely had a different “flavor” other than the regular “tourist” things to do in Venice. We upgraded our tickets to “Skip the Line- Sit in the First Thee Rows”. It was worth it to be right up front. Like I said earlier, no one in our group was a classical music fan but we all enjoy good music whatever the genre. We heard good music & enjoyed the showmanship. It was a great activity and an end to a beautiful day in Venice.

Good day out and value for money
This was a great day out, make sure you dress up well for the cold seas (it was December!). The trip was well organised and our guide was knowledgeable and shares lots of information. The boat ride was good and nobody seemed to be suffering from sickness. The islands were good. The trip to the lace factory is short and mainly a sales pitch. We enjoyed a panini at a local cafe and this was good

Excellent tour
🌄 A Perfect Day in the Dolomites! 🇮🇹✨
Today we explored the breathtaking Misurina Lake, often called the “Pearl of the Dolomites.” Surrounded by dramatic mountain peaks and reflected perfectly in its crystal-clear waters, it’s a scene straight out of a postcard! 💙
After soaking in the alpine beauty, we continued on to Cortina d’Ampezzo — a charming, picture-perfect village filled with cozy cafés, boutique shops, and stunning views in every direction. 🏔️☕🛍️
This region will be in the world’s spotlight soon as host of the 2026 Winter Olympics, but right now it’s a peaceful mountain escape full of Italian charm.
