It is very physically strenuous. The terrain is very uneven. The area to cover is very large.Bring a water bottle. It is strictly ruins. There is only one player cast of a person on the site. All relics are at the Archiological museum. Very interesting and amazing.

Paola was an exceptional guide and Dominico a fabulous driver. A fun, informative day. An easy scenic drive to Positano with an hour to have a quick look around and refreshment. Onward to Sorrento where we did a bit of shopping and a lunch with 1 1/2 hours visit then on to Pompeii with a guided tour through its streets and sites. A very enjoyable professional tour. We liked our visit to Capri. Highly recommend the chair lift to the top of Monte Solano. Our guide, Giorgio, a long time resident of Capri, was fund as well as informative. Although conditions were not favorable for entering the Blue Grotto on the day of our tour, the boat trip around the island was fantastic.

This tour was excellent. Our guide Adi was fantastic. He really cared about his guests and their experience. Our driver was also very good maneuvering the narrow mountain roads. I highly recommend this tour. Pick up and drop off to our cruise ship was flawless. I highly recommend hiring a guide for Pompeii, she made the experience 100% better and we didn’t get lost.

Perfect excursion for families with children

This was an excellent excursion. For those who want to experience all of pompeii, you may feel you dont get enough time in the ruins but for families with children, it is the perfect length the keep them engaged and interested. Our guide (Isabella) was very warm, welcoming and knowledgable about the site. She adapted the tour to avoid the biggest crowds and show all the highlights. After Pompeii, we were taken to a restaurant for lunch (excellent service, well priced) before being driven up to Vesuvius. The walk up from the car park is not gentle but we were given plenty of time to get up to the crater, have a wander around and get back down. Walking up Vesuvius was one of the highlights of our trip to Naples. Would thoroughly recommend this trip.

Definitely worth the money great day out

We had a fantastic day on this trip recently. Excellent communication from start to finish from our lovely guide Anna. Collected a very short walk from our hotel by Anna who started our day with lots of interesting stories and humour while traveling on the bus to the mountain where we met with Anthonio an excellent guide who guided our walk to the summit. Next stop was lunch which we enjoyed a three course light meal with wine or soft drink. Then onto Pompeii with another excellent guided tour from Antonio. This trip is great value and definitely worth it. If you can manage a hill wall you’ll be fine on the mountain it’s a very enjoyable hike. Thank you Anna, Anthony and Antonio and the lovely bus driver Guessippi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
