Fun food tour

We had a great time on the walking food tour with Cristos. His enthusiasm was abundantly evident and he made sure all participants had a good time. It was a small group experience, so it was easy to interact and enjoy the great food offerings and the history of them in the culture. A great way to get introduced to the city of Chania and the history of Crete.

family friendly great day

myself and my family did this trip whilst on holiday to crete chania area. a very well organised trip from the start bus was punctual and very comfortable. driver was excellent as the roads we had to drive on were very tricky at times. the guide was very informative and gave us lots of facts about the island. the bus was split into two tours. the bus had to stop at the port on the way there and the way back, but due to the organisation and tips from the guide the boat stop was faultless and didn’t take much time at all. on the way to the beach we stoped at a cave which was fantastic a steep climb to get to but well worth it. the beach was absolutely fantastic crystal waters and very safe for the children. it did get busy to a good spot did take some time to find, we had ample time on the beach (would take a snorkel kit next time) we were provided umbrellas from the bus free of charge which were needed as there is no shade on the beach. all round a really good day out.

A Great Overview of Crete History and Culture

The tour started promptly in a comfortable vehicle. Our Guide, Apostolos, was fun, very knowledgeable and a good driver. He really made the tour special. The variety of stops and locations gave us a good understanding of the landscape and culture of Crete. The lunch stop was so good! Exceptional tour which exceeded our high expectations

Whilst the ttip to Zeus' cave was the main attraction, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip. Our guide has exceptional knowledge about all the flora, fauna and wildlife and I loved his enthusiasm for the area. The walk up and down to the cave is quite steep so sturdy footwear and allow yourself to take your time.

Definitely worth it if...

Definitely worth it if you want to visit these hard to reach locations without the chaos of a big tourist ship. Everything was well planned, and the boat had plenty of food, drinks, and places to hang out while sailing. And there are things to do whether you want to run up to the fortress in Gravmousa and swim to Balos lagoon, or just hang out on the boat. If I had to criticize something, I wish they'd separate smokers into their own tour, or make the whole thing non-smoking. We only had one smoker, and it was annoying enough. Not much space on the boat to get away from it.

Our driver Andy was so sweet and hospitable! During our drives to each location, he educated us on the history of Crete in regards to olive trees and vineyards. The staff in each location were so nice and you can just tell they love what they do. Made me appreciate the goods more knowing how much work goes into it. Definitely recommend!

Exceptional private experience

If I could give this to her 10 stars I would! George picked us up promptly at our desired time and location. We traveled in a very clean and spacious van. Although the day is scheduled for up to 10 hours, we desired only a seven hour tour. Because it is completely private, George helped us to identify what was best for our group to cut, so we would be back at our desired time. We started our day at a beautiful olive orchard where we learned about olive trees, olive oil production, as well as their beehives and honey. We had a very fun tasting experience in a gorgeous setting of the olive trees. After this, we opted to visit the cave, where George told us a little history about its significance. It was a very unique and special experience for our family. When we visited the beach, George was very kind and prepared with beach towels, mats, and even an umbrella. He always had a fresh supply of cold waters for us and did everything possible to make us comfortable. He brought us to a lovely restaurant for lunch and we opted to end our day early. For people who want to do more, the day has the potential to be longer. There is a lot of driving around the island, but George gave us a perfect balance of answering our questions, and also allowing us to just be quiet and enjoy enjoying the beautiful scenery. He was an exceptionally careful driver, as many of these mountain roads seemed quite dangerous. I cannot say enough good things about this tour. Don’t hesitate to book! Definitely worth the money.
