Thoughtfully authentic Crete!
George was a fantastic guide; his flexibility and willingness to adapt to our schedule made the day even more special. We especially appreciated his insights into Crete's history, culture, and people; it was a true treat to find the activities "off the beaten path," as it were, and experience wine, olive oil production, and coffee with someone as knowledgeable and personable as George!

Best company ever
We had the pleasure of touring with Apostolos, and it was hands-down one of the best guided experiences we've had — from start to finish.
Even before the tour, the company was fantastic to deal with. They communicated clearly to confirm all the details and made sure we could be picked up right from our hotel, which made everything effortless on our end. When he arrived, he made a point of checking that we were comfortable before we even got started a small touch that set the tone for the whole day.
His knowledge was genuinely impressive he didn't just recite facts, he wove them into stories that brought each site to life. Every question we asked, no matter how detailed, he answered with real depth and clear enthusiasm for the subject.
Our start ended up running late, but Apostolos handled it with total professionalism. Instead of rushing us through the rest of the tour to make up time, he adjusted on the fly and made sure we still got the full, unhurried experience at every stop nothing felt cut short or skipped over. That kind of care for the visitor's experience, even when the schedule works against you, says a lot about someone's dedication to their craft.
If you're looking for a company and guide who combines deep expertise, genuine attentiveness, and great communication from the very first message, ask for Apostolos. Highly recommended!!

An Outstanding Tour with the Best Guide in Crete!
Without a doubt, this was one of the highlights of our trip to Greece, and Stavros made it truly unforgettable.
We started a bit earlier than our scheduled time and right from the get go, Stravos’ energy, enthusiasm, and genuine passion for Crete were contagious. He brought every place to life with fun facts, stories, history, mythology, and cultural insights. He not only shared his insights about Knossos Palace and the legend of Zeus, but also about Greece’s history, traditions, everyday life, and even connections to the world history.
We visited Knossos Palace, traditional villages, windmills, local farms, amazing olive oil factory, a beautiful coffee stop, and enjoyed an authentic Cretan lunch. Along the way, Stavros stopped by multiple times to point out interesting trees, fruits, plants, and local landmarks that we would have otherwise driven right past. He was also very generous and stopped by view points to take pictures for us. Those unexpected moments made the experience even more special.
What really stood out was how interactive and engaging he was. He encouraged questions, shared personal stories and made learning fun. His kindness, sense of humor, and incredible knowledge kept the energy high throughout the entire day. It felt like exploring Crete with a knowledgeable local friend who truly loves his island.
Thank you, Stavros, for an amazing day and for the wonderful memories that we’ll cherish for years to come.

Authentic Crete- A rich day of scenery, food and culture
My partner and I went on the Knossos palace and Lasithi Plateau tour with Spyros this weekend and I can without a doubt say he was the best tour guide I have ever had. He was funny, had a wealth of knowledge and it was clear that he loved his job and sharing his culture with visitors.
We were originally meant to be on a small group tour but the family that was meant to join was ill (very unfortunate for them) and so we got a private tour experience for a great price (very fortunate for us). Spyros planned and adapted the day well so we could avoid heat and large crowds at the busy Knossos. He made small stops along the way to show us different aspects of the landscape (I got to come home with a bunch of wild herbs and cherries).
I loved the olive oil factory and pottery shop, we learnt a bit about the craft and there was no pressure to buy anything (but I couldn’t help but buy several of products from these great small businesses). Knossos and the Zeus cave were very impressive and well worth seeing, but I think my highlight of the day was visiting Spyros’ local village and eating the homemade olive oil biscuits that were made by an old woman who’s cafe is the heart of the village.
The lunch was delicious, Spyros’ meal recommendations were golden, and the view of the Lasithi plateau and windmills was a great was to wrap up the day (with a couple of small stops on the way back to Heraklion).
I definitely recommend this tour for an authentic and packed (but not rushed) Crete experience!

Great Outdoor and Indoor Guides
Our outdoor guide was incredible. It was a very hot day (June in a heat wave) and our guide took us through all the key spots and allowed us to take pictures before giving more detailed explanations in the shade. We had a small group, so it made navigating very easy. Our guide was very knowledgeable and tied in the mythology to actual events to piece everything together seamlessly. Very professional and experienced. We took the bus to the museum after, and due to heavy traffic, timing was tight. Our museum guide was quiet, but delightful and took us through the high points of Minoan society and artifacts.

Include this on your holiday!
This was the greatest experience of our 2 week vacation in Greece. The kids absolutely loved it! The food was delicious. The service was great. The show was second to none! The amount of talent on the stage was mind blowing. The production and choreography was wonderful! There was a large variety to watch and the cast was very interactive. We look forward to visiting again on a future visit to Crete. I highly recommend this , don’t miss out! Wish we could add more stars than 5.

Highly recommend!
This experience was fabulous for our entire family and it has been a highlight of our vacation! It was such a fun way to see Crete and our kids enjoyed getting out of ruins and museums to have some adventure. It was great to stick our toes in the sea toward the end of tour.

Our guide was awesome! He...
Our guide was awesome! He worked around our allergies and food preferences and was very knowledgeable about the different types of food and the meaning behind them! He asked lots of questions about our culture and we both got to learn! Overall, we had a great experience and left very full (don’t eat several hours beforehand if you want to make it through).

Wonderful day on the water!
What a wonderful day on the water! The captains were delightful, very kind and attentive, warm and friendly. There were 12 passengers which seemed too many at first but we were then aloud to spread out and sit on the front deck of the boat which was PERFECT! The blue water was beautiful and the lunch was superb! Dia Island wasn’t much to see, a place to drop anchor and be protected from the wind. We had a blast swimming, snorkeling and SUPing around. Thank you Alex and Vascili for a wonderful day!

5 Star Food Tour!
We had the most wonderful food tour with Magda. She was a perfect ambassador of Cretan hospitality, history and culture. She took us to places in Heraklion we may no have gone on our own, and the food…first, I’ve never eaten so much on a food tour and we usually take one in a every major city we visit. Secondly, Magda took us to places that had unique offerings that only a local would know. One of the restaurants served us lamb, sheep and pork raised from the owner’s farm in the mountains. And I loved that she encouraged us to eat with our hands. We were immersed into the Cretan culture for a day. Loved it!

Great day well worth doing
Was a full day with 3 main stops. There is plenty time at each place to enjoy the areas and have quick drink if you want. The towns are very pretty and Spinalonga very interesting. It is €20 extra to get into Spinolonga but you can just sit and enjoy view of port or paddle if you don't want to walk round. If you want to jump of boat into water for swim on way back ensure you already have swim wear on. Transfers were great and local. All staff were friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our day. Totally recommended
