Outstanding guide and experience.

Aigli was our guide and should be a professor. A true teacher and very knowledgeable. The terrain is challenging and not always safe, but be prepared with good shoes. Ancient Athens agora was a deeply moving and soul touching experience as we felt the echoes of the people who lived there 2500 years ago. To walk in the paths of philosophers and architects who built Athens physically and mentally is an experience beyond words. We loved the sit down spots where aigli became a philosopher and philosopher for us. The overwhelming architecture withstands earthquakes and war. What can the future hold for these outdoor treasures? Better than AI or google, a tour from a licenced guide helps one reap more from these adventures. Loved it!!!!

Absolutely Faboulous Tour

This tour was fabulous. It was so great to see another area of Athens being the Riviera area. Spyros our guide was absolutely wonderful. He was a careful driver, polite, knowledgable and took us to great places with wonderful food choices. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone and request Spyros as your tour guide as he is very special.

Strenuous in slippery...

The Acropolis & Pantheon was Strenuous in slippery weather when wet but so worth while for the effort. Our guide Maria was caring and kept us safe. The museum was fantastic. This experience would mean very little without an experienced guide to bring it to life.

Fantastic day full of archeology and castles!

We had a little problem about knowing where to meet our group at the plaza but she contacted me and we found her. The tour guide was fantastic! Very knowledgeable about archeology and the sites. Mycenae was amazing! I would put it on the scale right with Machupicchu. Nafplio was this town like Venice but with no canals. Very ornate with flowers and architecture and castles all around you. We had lunch on the square. So relaxing and beautiful! I could have stayed there all day! Epidaurus was fun too! A very fun day! I must if you go to Athens!

Plenty of time at Delphi...

Plenty of time at Delphi and Arschova, we travelled on a Sunday so the roads may have been clearer. Both sites were excellent and very enjoyable. Our guide, Angelos was very friendly and informative. He spoke perfect English and was lovely to chat to. Our driver was also first class and the journey felt very safe.

Delphi for a day

Me and my daughter had a wonderful experience. Driver and tour guides were very knowledgeable with a lot of interesting information about sites along the way and the Delphi Oracle site. We recommend having lunch at the end of your day with the entire group! Food was very good and reasonably priced.

Great Intro to Athens and a First Day Must-Do!

Naya was a great host from Athens Walking Tours. This was 3 hours of so much food, stories and a peek into the local Athenian life. This was a great intro to Athens, as our guide touched on some of the neighborhoods and what makes them unique, stories that combined well known Greek History with that of her own parents and grandparents. There was a ton of food- I went in hungry, per suggestions of other reviewers and left so so full. All around great way to get more of a local experience than if you were to walk around solo. Loved it!
