One of the highlights of...

One of the highlights of our two week trip to Italy and Greece. We opted to add a licensed guide to the tour that would go with us into the Acropolis and the Agora. Definitely worth the extra cost. We were met by our guide, Aristotelis, who also narrated the other sites that we saw that day. We spent considerable time in the Acropolis and the Agora and he had a large amount of information and various pictures, maps and other info that he would bring up on his table to show us further information about each element of the site. It was great to be shown around by someone who is knowledgeable, passionate, and proud of his city and his country’s heritage. Felt more like a family member showing us around Athens, rather than a tour guide. Highly recommend.

It was a.wonderful tour...

It was a.wonderful tour outside Athens area. The total toue time took 14 hours and half of the time on thw bus. But the driver drove super smooth on the mountain road and always allow stops for breaks, lunch and dinner. The tour lady also gice us a lot of stories about the areas. Seeing the mountains and Montessories are worth for this trip. we enjoyed and highly recommended this program.

Excellent Tour

Our tour guide , Stelios, was awesome. Stelios arranged the tour to fit our interests, he even took us to areas that were not on the list of to dos. He even took us to see a newly made ancient ship that had three layers of oars. His English was excellent, very knowledgeable and very accommodating. We went to where Paul baptized people and Stelios definitely followed Pauls travels and explained many things about Paul.

Just amazing!

Our guide Deppy was so passionate, generous and interesting! This tour was very friendly and rich. Including the agora with the acropolis is absolutely a must for whoever is interested in the history. While the acropolis is so iconic and impossible not to visit, the history of the people is actually mostly concentrated in the agora. Having someone knowledgeable enough to explain the monuments and include a lot of fascinating extra information or perspectives truly adds depth to the visit and lets us see the site on a whole different light. There is so much we would have missed without this astonishing tour, thank you so much!!

Me and my daughter had a wonderful experience. Driver and tour guides were very knowledgeable with a lot of interesting information about sites along the way and the Delphi Oracle site. We recommend having lunch at the end of your day with the entire group! Food was very good and reasonably priced.

Everything about the experience was great! Easy check in. Prompt Segway training. And we were off to enjoy some of the most amazing sights of Ancient Athens with Vanna, the best tour guide! She gave us great info, took pics for us, made sure we were hydrated (and gelato-died) and even helped us work out dinner reservations. We will be taking the Modern Athens Segway tour with her also because we enjoyed it so much!

Yummy walk thru Athens with Orestes

Wonderful start to the day with many great treats on our walk through the 3 different neighborhoods. Our guide brought a delicious traditional circular bread for us to try. We also had lovely pies, honey products, gyros, donuts, all while getting to know the area and history of the boroughs. Loved Monastiraki and the flea markets and fun vibes! Ask for Orestes (? I think?), and you’ll be sure to have a great, personalized experience!

The Best of Athens done right

Alex our driver and guide was fantastic, super helpful and very attentive. He met us at the cruise port right on time, answered all questions, even the silly ones and was so eager to share his knowledge of Athens, the sights and history. We saw so many sights, beat the bulk of the lines at the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum and then had a lovely and super tasty lunch at a little coastal restaurant near Poseidon's Temple. If you want to make the most of a day in Athens, this tour will make that happen.
