Make your way to the centrally located meeting point, hop aboard a classic wooden saloon boat, and settle in for a relaxing journey through Amsterdam’s UNESCO-listed canals. If you've upgraded, your guide will hand you a platter full of Dutch cheese paired with mustard, to nibble on during the ride, plus unlimited beer, wine, and soft drinks.
Your cruise begins by gliding along the Prinsengracht, past landmarks such as the Anne Frank House (Anne Frank Huis), before continuing down the Bloemgracht, Amstel, Herengracht, Singel, and Keizersgracht. Take in sights along the way of key attractions such as as De 9 Straatjes, Rijksmuseum, Skinny Bridge (Magere Brug), and Bloemenmarkt. Your guide points out each landmark, and fills you in on its history.
After soaking up Amsterdam from the water, end back at the starting point, ready to explore further on dry land on your own time.

The skipper and first mate were very personable. What I was disappointed in was the boat we were on was nothing like the boat pictured. There was not a nice table for you to set your drinks or cheese on. Instead was a high top work station you could barely see over. You received a small plastic glass and a cutting board with Gouda cheese (one cheese type) on it. The communicator (first mate) did not have a microphone or speaker do you could not hear her when she had her back to you or another boat went by. It was hard to see over the bow of the boat. In closing, the canal cruise was great to do but the boat was misrepresented and it was difficult to hear from where we were seated. I would recommend another tour operator.

This is a covered boat except for a small area in the back so picture taking is a little more challenging. However it was perfect for us due to the warm weather- good in rainy weather too. We are seniors so it felt safer for us. The staff were very helpful helping my husband get in and out of the boat.

Had such an amazing time. The captain and crew were so knowledgeable and really worked hard to make us feel special on our trip. We only had a quick layover in Amsterdam and the canal tour was our only planned activity. I would highly recommend it!

I enjoyed the cruise , staff were very informative and engaging . I probably would have booked just a cruise rather than this one without drinks and cheese as my party booked the no drinks or cheese option and I would have preferred a cruise where we were all the same as the crew were also serving the drinks when I would have preferred more guide talk on where we were . But if that doesn’t bother you good value for money

Great way to get a quick little tour of the city!
We chose the 1 hour saloon boat cruise (with the wine and cheese option-a must!).
The saloon boat was a great choice as it had a covered roof (with large skylight/windows) so you could see the beauty of the city, but were covered from any quick weather changes.
Our skipper, Michael, was great! And our guide Tionne, was hilarious, informative, and a LOT of fun. It was our friends birthday, and they went above and beyond to make our experience memorable.

I have done canal cruises before, but this one stood out to me due to the hosts/guides. The 2 hosts were incredibly engaging, informative, and also funny. They wove together some history of the city with fun stories and personal insights. We chose a covered boat due to the chance of rain, and it was great. I did not feel that we missed anything by being in a boat with a roof. This was a fun experience that I'd recommend!

It’s a booze cruise with bad booze, fictionalized history, “jokes” about human trafficking, & the captain’s obsession with all things sexual. It was like being trapped in a locker room on the water. I’ve been on other canal tours & this was a huge disappointment.

It was great! They served unlimited wine, beer and cheese. Had a good and funny history along the tour as well as interaction with the captain. The view of the city was very beautiful. Only thing we didn't like was that we were sat with random people in a booth. Although after everyone was seated they allowed us to move to any leftover empty spots, which we did. After that, everything was perfect.
