Our journey takes us along Eyjafjörður, one of Iceland’s longest fjords, to our first destination, the Goðafoss waterfall, which holds great significance in Iceland’s history. Next, we will explore the beauty of Lake Mývatn, where we can appreciate stunning sights such as Skútustaðagígar, also known as pseudo craters. This unique phenomenon can only be found in a few places around the world, including Iceland, Hawaii, one in the Azores, and even on the planet Mars. An Amazing Horseback Riding Experience

I made the reservation months ago and realized the night before that I stupidly put in the wrong time! I messaged the stable and Anna got back to me so quickly about moving us to the earlier time and also getting us transportation from Akureyri to their barn. Crisis averted! Once we arrived we were taken into the barn and outfitted with any rain gear we may have needed. We were sized for our helmets and then Linnea paired us with our horses. Once we had a short time to make our horse's acquaintance (Hi Narfi!), we mounted up, and we were off! One of my friends and I are experience riders, so we were given the opportunity to go ahead of the group and try to tölt. It was really quite the experience! The was another group with us, but it still was a nice private experience where each rider was taken care of depending on their level of horsemanship. It truly was a beautiful hour and a half of picturesque countryside and opportunity to commune with nature. My entire group felt comfortable and safe the entire time and would not hesitate to come back. Plus, the cake at the end was wonderful as well!

Highly recommend if you...

Highly recommend if you are traveling via cruise ship. Easy to find the bus as it was a different colors then all others which was nice. Kuba was a great driver and never felt like we were gonna go off road:). Jessica, our tour guide was amazing and filled with tons of information and even threw in some jokes which was awesome. This tour gives you a taste of what the country has to offer. It was also nice to hear about the location on the bus and be able to see them at your own pace.

Lake Myvatn and 3 Waterfalls Tour

Fantastic tour. It’s a long day, but definitely worth it if you want to see the key places in the area in one tour. Lake Myvatn was a bit of a let down but that was probably because of the flies and also because the waterfalls and the geothermal fumaroles were so amazing. Big shout out to Graham the tour guide!! His knowledge of the area and Iceland in general is outstanding. It takes great skill to talk for 8 hours while keeping everyone interested. Graham has that skill. He is a credit to your Business and made the whole day so much more enjoyable. He even supplied us all with nets for the areas known to have flies. All in all this was an excellent tour and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Akureyri. 5 stars!! Thank You!

Great tour, stunning views, highly recommend a swim in the Nature Lagoon.

Fabulous tour!… our guide was SO good, telling us lots of stories and information about Iceland. He went out of his way to give us the best tour. The waterfall was simply stunning. We also went to the Nature Lagoon which was a truly spectacular experience. Warm, blue and gorgeous, a must do experience.

An absolutely magical whale watching experience!

We were lucky enough to spot humpback whales as well as harbor porpoises multiple times, sometimes just a few meters from the boat. A truly unforgettable moment. Our guide was passionate and gave clear, easy-to-follow explanations in English. You could really feel her enthusiasm and deep knowledge of the local marine wildlife. A perfect experience from start to finish — highly recommend!

Amazing experience!

Please make sure you have Kiersten as your guide! Thoroughly knowledgeable from top to bottom. Knew everything about anything. We were extremely lucky this day. Picture perfect postcard day. Not a cloud in the sky, so that helped. The waterfall was beautiful, the boiling pots were amazing. The Icelandic landscape makes you feel like you’re on another planet. Downfall of course because it was a summer day, there were bus fulls, and two cruise ships in town, so all the sights were riddled with tourists, But Kiersten was truly amazing! You can tell she loves her job, took time to talk to us individually, answer any questions we threw at her. So great tour guide + great weather = great experience!

This excursion is worth doing! The waterfall breathtaking! Enough time to enjoy the beauty. The forest lagoon so relaxing! Enough time to really relax. Possibly too relaxed if there is such a thing!😊 Our guide Miguel was the best. He shared info about Iceland that was so informative and had a pleasant voice.

Incredible experience

We saw a humpback whale, a minke whale, puffins and a pod of dolphins stayed with us for quite sometime. Beautiful weather. The one guide from Spain was exceptional. And the tour narrator was very knowledgeable about whales.. I also appreciated the fact they were respectful of wildlife. Have already recommended to a number of tourists along the way.

Simply the greatest whale watching!

Amazing experience! We saw at least 4 humpback whales, incredibly active. Mother and calf together, two whales hunting together... Not to mention an absolutely stunning sunset! Captain Austin and our zoologist guide, Kaj, were friendly and knowledgeable. The RIB boat ride itself is a blast as well. It does get cold out on the bay--they provide a protective suit but you'll likely want to bring gloves, hat, and scarf. And if you are prone to motion sickness, be sure to use your Dramamine. But I seriously cannot recommend this tour enough. We did this tour two years ago, and bright our teens with us this time to share the magic with them.

We had a great...

We had a great experience! We saw 7 whales (humpbacks and minkes) and many puffins out in the water. They provided us with a very warm suit to wear so we were very comfortable. Tour guide was great and informative. Loved the hot chocolate and cinnamon cookies we received on the way back to the harbor. Great tour!
