This is not an under the fountain experience. We could have bought our own ticket to see the fountain close for just 2 E. Didn't get what we paid for. Very disappointed.

First off. Direction is given to go the address and show them your voucher. I did that at the Trevi line and was told that it wasn’t the voucher. I asked customer care at Viator and they eventually sent me the voucher via email. The voucher they sent me also didn’t work. I contacted them again and was told when I said it didn’t work “Why didn’t it work”. How the heck I’m I supposed to know why it didn’t work? When I scanned the ticket they sent me the device said “Invalid”. They sent me another voucher through the app chat and that worked finally. Also ridiculous up charge for using this third party. 2 euros to do the same exact thing it would have cost me right at the Trevi line. 9 euros for the exact same thing through Viator. Also had an issue with my St Peter’s Bascillica tickets but that’s another review. Also helped another person in line at the Parthenon the next day who was experiencing type same issues I was with Viator. The directions ARE NOT CLEAR despite what the customer tell me. I was not the only one that thought so.

Get there early or later in afternoon when the crowds are lighter. Crowd midday are insane after 3:30 they were half of what they were at 1:30.

Scam. Beware! I booked weeks ago and it said tickets for entry would be emailed within 24 hours. The email never came! It is also only $2 right at the fountain with immediate entry! We ended up buying tickets again at the fountain, the ticket agent at the fountain said this is not a legit way to purchase!

I paid Viator $5+ euro for a ticket I could have walked up and paid $2 euro for. Once I got to the line, the codes indicated I had attended earlier in the day and that they were already used. This was a scam.

Do not waste your money using Viator for this experience. At the gate of the fountain, they only charge 2 Euros per person. Just go there in person and pay the fee directly. It will be way cheaper. Fountain is beautiful to see.
