Look elsewhere for a better experience Cannot recommend this experience through “Royal Routes.” Yes, of course, don’t miss the Pantheon - that was amazing. But “meet our super friendly host” was perhaps the biggest stretch of imagination. I was tech-shamed by a man who grabbed my phone without permission away from me like a common pickpocket. And “collecting” the ticket meant if I didn’t have some specialty app, I was a fool who didn’t get my ticket. Avoid royal. Get your overpriced re-sell ticket elsewhere. The audio guide was decent though, just be ready for a pushy, unfriendly man to forcibly grab your phone out of your hands a SECOND time to gain access to it.

No Guide, Just Overpriced Ticket Scam

They did absolutely nothing value. You meet up with them and the rest of the “group” and they send you your ticket…but only if you have WhatsApp. If not, then they have you take a picture of your ticket on their phone. Then one of them takes the “group” to the pantheon, your ticket gets scanned, you go in, and then your “guide” disappears and you never see any of them again. You’re better off just buying a ticket from the pantheon website for less money.

Only way to see the Pantheon!

Easy to find the guide but was disappointed when I received the tickets and saw that we paid the same rate for adults and kids although kids were free. Advise to others is to rather buy the tickets yourself as you stand in the online ticket row regardless
