- Please note: this is a private tour. The list of sites is a menu of options—not a fixed itinerary—and it isn’t possible to visit all of them on a 3-hour tour. At the start, your guide will discuss your interests and plan a realistic route. You’ll see as many sites as time allows.
- most tours operate with a six-seat golf cart—four seats face forward (including the driver’s position) and two seats face backward.
- Hotel pickup is offered only in the city center. Please check the hotel list or contact us if you’re unsure. If no pickup location is selected, the tour departs from the Rolling Rome office at Piazza del Gesù 47.
- Please note: this is a sightseeing tour and does not include entry to ticketed sites such as the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican Museums, or Pantheon. We’ll stop by these landmarks for exterior views and photos, but we will not go inside during the tour.
- The tour runs rain or shine. Our golf carts are equipped with rain covers for wet weather.
- For large groups, we can operate multiple golf carts—each with its own guide—and keep them coordinated and close together at each stop.
- No reconfirmation is required upon arrival. If you have any questions, please send us a message at the time of booking.
- All golf carts are street-legal and equipped with seat belts and side protection.
- We can accommodate a wheelchair for free only for bookings of up to three participants.
- For safety reasons, each golf cart can accommodate only one baby seat, which must be installed in the middle seat next to a parent.

We had heard taking a golf cart tour was the way to see Rome if you are short on time. It was so much more than a tour. We had a wonderful time! Our tour guide, Val, was so accommodating that we hated to say goodbye. I would definitely recommend his tour and tour guide: No scary driving, lol.

Best way to experience ALOT of Rome without all the walking. Our guide Angelica was awesome, so much knowledge of Ancient Rome and present Rome. Took us to a great local restaurant and a great coffee stop. We booked a 7 hour trip and were so glad for the extra time to make many mores stops.

We had a fantastic golf cart tour of Rome with our guide, Hilaria! She was lovely, incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly knew the city inside and out. We specifically asked to see some of her favorite hidden gems around Rome, and she absolutely delivered while making the experience fun and engaging the entire time.
One of the highlights was when she took us to her favorite gelato spot — and it definitely did not disappoint! Hilaria was kind, informative, and made us feel like we were exploring the city with a local friend. We had so much fun on the golf cart tour with Julio! He was a wealth of knowledge and such a fun guy. The golf cart tour was surprisingly fast and a bit of a roller coaster, going up and down on the hills of Rome. We saw the sunset over the best views of the city. This tour exceeded our expectations, and I would recommend it to anybody.

Our tour guide was Carlotta. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. When we were picked up, she took the time to understand what we wanted to see, how long our trip was, etc. to make sure that we hit all the spots we wanted We went to so many sites and got some amazing photos. As we were driving, she not only told us the history about all the sites, but fun facts about other things that we were passing. She made the trip fun for my whole family and insured we got to go everywhere we wanted and made amazing memories. I would highly recommend this tour well worth the money, especially given the pick up and drop off we’re at our hotel. Also, it was just me and my small family so private tour was even more amazing. Very customizable and a great time.

I booked this on a whim and am so very glad we did this tour with Lorcan. We booked a private tour for just my husband and I. We selected the evening tour at 7pm which was perfect. We were able to navigate the streets easily in the golf cart and felt like many places we visited were not over crowded. Our guide picked us up from our hotel promptly. We explored so many small squares and places I don’t have enough space to list them all. Lorcan truly loved the history of the city and is deeply knowledgeable. He was attentive and took us to some spots I wouldn’t have appreciated without his context. This felt like the perfect end to our first night in the city when we were tired from traveling and walking but still desired to explore. He would park and we would get out to observe or take in some beautiful views. Above all, Lorcan was a 10 out of 10 guide. I can’t stress enough how much we enjoyed talking with him and learning more about Rome from him. I wish it could’ve been longer than the 2.5 hours. If you love history or have someone in your group that loves those lesser known details, this trip is worth every penny. I feel like our guides passion and knowledge really made this memorable.
