Bridging past snd present
Robert was friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodative. I came to see Zhujiajiao with my 87 year old Mom who was born in China. Robert communicated in both English and Mandarin and bridged the gap between modern China and the past when asked questions by my Mom (in Mandarin) and by me (in English). The trip brought back memories which my Mom shared with Robert and myself that added a personal layer to the trip. My Mom especially appreciated the delicious lunch because some of the vegetable dishes my Mom has not eaten in a long time because the vegetables are not available outside of China. It was a truly a wonderful unique experience that Robert was able to provide for both my Mom and me.

Excellent tour and fantastic guide!
We just finished the tour with our guide Snow and it was excellent! We select tours based on past reviews and our tour of Shanghai and the Zhujiajiao Water Town did not disappoint. She did an excellent job describing everything along the way, spoke excellent English and was very flexible when we asked to take pictures and make changes to the itinerary. I would highly recommend this tour and we highly recommend Snow. She made the day very fun in this beautiful and safe city!

Happy I decided to do...
Happy I decided to do this food tour inspite of the rainy weather the day of the actual tour. Alex was a wonderful guide and had prepared a yummy circuit of food majorly in 2 areas. I loved the additions of the Chinese tea ceremony and fruit snack in between the highlights of fried scallion noodles, Cantonese duck, Shanghai fried dumplings and Xiaolongbao soup buns. Highly recommend this tour!

We had an amazing...
We had an amazing experience on this Great Wall tour—it was a long day, but completely stress-free from start to finish. The service was incredibly well organized. Our driver picked us up right from our hotel in Shanghai and personally walked us into the train station and onto the train, making sure we were settled into our seats. When we arrived in Beijing, Sunny and her driver were waiting for us right at the station exit, which made everything seamless. From the moment we met her, Sunny stood out—she is warm, engaging, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. The drive to the Great Wall was relaxing, and she shared interesting history and insights about China in a way that felt natural and never overwhelming. After a quick lunch, Sunny guided us along the wall at a pace that felt perfect for us. She was incredibly attentive, checked in often, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. She also took amazing photos and videos—honestly some of our favorites from the whole trip—and knew all the best spots. What really made the day special was Sunny herself. She has such a positive, easygoing personality that made everything feel effortless and enjoyable. It never felt rushed or overly structured—just a really great day with a fantastic guide. At the end of the day, everything was just as smooth—she made sure we got to our train at the Beijing station, and when we arrived in Shanghai, our driver was already waiting to take us back to our hotel. If you’re staying in Shanghai and want a stress-free, well-organized, and genuinely enjoyable way to see the Great Wall, this is absolutely the way to do it. Highly recommend!

Known as “The Paris of the East,” Shanghai is China's biggest and most prosperous city. Even the locals can’t do it all. That’s why Shanghai tours are the best way to maximize your time. Instead of looking down at a map, let your expert guide show you around sites such as the Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden, and the Jade Buddha Temple. Or opt for a food tour through the French Concession, a cruise on the Zhujiajiao canals, or even a day trip to Beijing, where you can walk on the Great Wall of China.
