What an Exceptional Tour of Shanghai

I had no idea that I was in for such a fun-filled and adventurous time. My guide Céline had a great understanding of Chinese history and knew Shanghai like the back of her hand. We covered so much territory in one day with special surprises at every turn; from the malls to the metro, it felt like we visited every angle Shanghai had to offer, albeit zipping thru China’s largest Starbucks, or cruising by the massive Louie Vuitton street vessel, or wandering thru beautiful Yuyuan Gardens or even pooping atop one of the highest observatories in the city to see breathtaking views and take spectacular shots, there was so so much to see. The highlight for me however was seeing a dusk view of Shanghai’s tallest building, Shanghai Tower and its neighboring buildings begin to magically light-up the night’s sky. I’ve been on many a tour during my travels across the plant, but this had to be the most exciting. Thank you Céline for such an amazing and great experience, one which I will never ever forget.

Our brief holiday in Shanghai

Tom, our tour guide was a great tour guide. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. This was one of the best tours that I have taken in a long time. The tour covered: the Yu Garden, the Bund, the financial district in Pudong and the Xintiandi district in the French concession. It was an excellent introduction to Shanghai from the Ming Dynasty period (Yu Garden) to the modern 21st century Pudong. I would recommend this tour and Tom for anyone interested in Shanghai.

Fantastic Evening Tour of Shanghai with Judy!

We had an amazing evening exploring Shanghai with our guide, Judy! This tour was such a great way to experience so many different sides of the city in just one evening. The highlight was definitely Yuyuan Bazaar, where we tried both fried and steamed buns, which were absolutely delicious! Walking through the bazaar and taking in the traditional architecture was a wonderful experience. The Bund was another highlight, with incredible views of Shanghai's illuminated skyline. We also visited the financial district, where we got some fantastic photo opportunities surrounded by the impressive skyscrapers. We especially loved exploring the French Concession area. It had such a cool, contemporary atmosphere and was a wonderful contrast to the historic bazaar and modern financial district. We really appreciated Judy and the team accommodating our pickup and drop-off at Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, which made the entire evening so convenient. Overall, this was a fantastic introduction to Shanghai, with a great mix of history, culture, food, and beautiful nighttime views. We had a wonderful time with Judy and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Shanghai

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Our driver was at the hotel in plenty of time. Kalvin, our tour guide met us at the arranged time. He was friendly and welcoming and taught us a lot about Shanghai on the trip out. The water town and gardens are beautiful. Absolutely worth the trip! Shanghai Tower and The Bund.

In my opinion it's the best way to learn about heritage, culture and religion of this part of China is to take a tour guide throught this app and explore the city. Shanghai is differend than other chinesee cities such as Beijin or Xi'an. No doubt is worth to spend the whole day to experience what we did. Five stars for Sean and the driver. We have seen a lot just in one day as these two guys did incredibly good job.

He was not only knowledgeable about the neighbourhoods we were in, and the history and customs of the Chinese people but also, he was just wonderful to be with. I felt like I made a new friend. Emma was an incredible tour guide! She was personable, timely, courteous, knowledgeable, and genuinely took each of us and our individual needs into consideration throughout the entire day. Her advice regarding the different entrance options for the Southern Great Wall was especially helpful. She carefully explained what each option involved, including the additional 200–300 steps after the Warrior/Hero’s Slope to reach the top, which allowed us to make an informed decision about the route that was right for us. Our entire day was planned perfectly. After coming down from the Great Wall in the heat, Emma even treated us to ice cream before lunch so we could cool down — such a thoughtful and very welcome surprise! Lunch itself was absolutely amazing. The entire tour was an incredible experience for all three of us. On a personal level, I have difficulty walking, and climbing the Great Wall was a significant challenge for me. With Emma’s guidance, patience, and encouragement, I made it! That is an experience I will never forget. All three of us would wholeheartedly recommend Emma. Her attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and ability to make the day enjoyable for each of us made this an unforgettable experience in China. We could not have asked for a better guide!

Caroline was an absolute dream! From the very first moment, she welcomed us so warmly and made us feel incredibly comfortable. This honestly became one of the most beautiful and memorable days of our entire trip. She is an absolute professional and somehow always knew exactly where to go, where to stand and how to take the perfect photos. Some of the most beautiful pictures from our entire journey were taken with Caroline, and we will keep those memories forever. A very funny and sweet surprise: we are Iranian, and Caroline even knew a little Persian! That made the experience even more special and showed us once again how much knowledge, passion and personality she brings to her tours. We loved everything about the day – especially the rickshaw ride, the beautiful boat ride, the food and all the little moments in between. The tour overall is nice, The walk around the old city and the shopping area is beautiful. The waiting time to get in the cruise was longer than expected as it was busy day but as soon I got in the cruise the view was incredible beautiful 10/10 I highly recommend this tour.
