History brought to life in Xi’an
We had an excellent private tour to the Terracotta Warriors in Xi’an with our guide Julia from Catherine Lu Tours. She and the driver arrived exactly at 8:00 AM, and she contacted us the night before with all the details, which gave us confidence and peace of mind from the beginning. Julia’s English is very good, and throughout the tour she explained many historical and cultural details about the Terracotta Warriors Mausoleum in a very clear and engaging way. We visited all three pits and the museum, and her knowledge really helped bring the history to life. She was also very thoughtful during the visit, helping us take pictures and guiding us to the best souvenir stores inside the museum area. One of the highlights was that she took us to meet one of the original discoverers of the Terracotta Warriors, where we had the opportunity to buy a book signed by him — a very unique experience. Overall, I highly recommend Julia if you are planning a private tour to visit the Terracotta Warriors in Xi’an.

We had an amazing visit to the Terracotta Army! Our guide, Roger, was knowledgeable, professional, and made the day run smoothly. He handled a tricky situation with another visitor calmly and offered great solutions. Highly recommend this tour—thank you, Roger, for an unforgettable experience!

A great day out!
Cindy was our guide, she’s excellent; fluent English, very knowledgeable bringing the history to life for us and a helpful & considerate person who was a pleasure to spend our day with. Communication with the tour company was very good too, at their suggestion we made an early start & entered the Terracotta warriors as it opened, good tip. A private guided tour is really worth it at a busy site like this. We went on to the Emperors burial mound & chariot museum also well worth it, very close to the Warriors & ties the story together. We finished at the Palace & hot springs set in beautiful gardens, again nearby. Really recommend this trip & particularly Cindy as your guide.
