Amazing experience!

This was an amazing experience! We all got to wear flotation warm suits and I didn't get sea sick either because that day the sea was calm and the boat captain took the journey slow. We saw 6 humpback whales! Got to see one breaching and lots of blow-hole and flippers too. It was incredible! Totally recommend this to anyone!

Highly recommend if you...

Highly recommend if you are traveling via cruise ship. Easy to find the bus as it was a different colors then all others which was nice. Kuba was a great driver and never felt like we were gonna go off road:). Jessica, our tour guide was amazing and filled with tons of information and even threw in some jokes which was awesome. This tour gives you a taste of what the country has to offer. It was also nice to hear about the location on the bus and be able to see them at your own pace.

Happiness with a view

Very beautiful experience at this spa in the heights of Akureyri. The place is perched among the trees, clean showers and cabins available if you do not want to get naked in public, water at 38 [degrees] very pleasant especially since we had the sun and the view of the small forest downstream from the pools. Possibility to order cocktails directly from the pools thanks to two swim-up bars as well, pool surfaces large enough not to feel like you are crowding each other, and - the icing on the cake - a good (and beautiful!) little restaurant right inside the spa center, which serves excellent tapas (succulent fries, gourmet nachos, gourmet brie with honey and nuts) and for a reasonable price. Superb break in such a beautiful country.

Great tour, stunning views, highly recommend a swim in the Nature Lagoon.

Fabulous tour!… our guide was SO good, telling us lots of stories and information about Iceland. He went out of his way to give us the best tour. The waterfall was simply stunning. We also went to the Nature Lagoon which was a truly spectacular experience. Warm, blue and gorgeous, a must do experience.

An absolutely wonderful excursion

Our guide, Marka (apologies if I’ve misspelled the name), was truly impressive, a real wealth of knowledge and information. We visited some incredible sites, and the tour brought everything to life, from Iceland’s geology and history to its culture and traditions. I would highly recommend this trip and would happily do it all over again. The Earth Lagoon at the end was particularly special, do not miss it!

Godafoss Waterfall Trip Was Wonderful

We thoroughly enjoyed this excursion. Being picked up at the cruise terminal made it even better. Our tour guide Peter was knowledgable and made our trip even better by changing the sequence of the itinerary. Run do not walk to book this tour. It was incredible and super fun. Who doesn’t love being greeted by 20 huskies? Gunni and Maura are the Owners. They choose which dogs will go on the hike via lottery so that each dog gets to participate equally. Each person doing the hike gets a harness around their waist with a bungee leach attached to a husky’s harness. This was a great way for the Husky to walk me, I mean me to walk the husky. Due to the harness, you are hands free with no need to hold a leash. We hiked as a pack with the Owner Gunni and a second dog handler. If your husky is too animated for you, they will choose a calmer dog for you to walk. All of the dogs are super friendly. The hike is easy with no major hills. We get a couple water breaks for the dogs and for us. Gunni shares a lot about each dog on the walk. If you’ve never walked a dog before, this is a great first experience. After the hike you will be shown around their home and get to see dog show ribbons and sledding trophies. You’ll get a great history about the dogs and responsible breeding practices. I highly recommend this tour. You will be pick up at the cruise port or in town. Just look for the person walking a husky. I just wish the experience was longer. I could have stayed there all day.

Our tour was spectacular!! The sights were unlike any encountered in years of travel. Lily our guide clearly articulated directions , meeting points and times. On the ride into the mountains and back she told us stories, historical facts and even brought details of how native Icelanders live, eat and find entertainment. She is a gem.

Amazing experience!

Please make sure you have Kiersten as your guide! Thoroughly knowledgeable from top to bottom. Knew everything about anything. We were extremely lucky this day. Picture perfect postcard day. Not a cloud in the sky, so that helped. The waterfall was beautiful, the boiling pots were amazing. The Icelandic landscape makes you feel like you’re on another planet. Downfall of course because it was a summer day, there were bus fulls, and two cruise ships in town, so all the sights were riddled with tourists, But Kiersten was truly amazing! You can tell she loves her job, took time to talk to us individually, answer any questions we threw at her. So great tour guide + great weather = great experience!

To observe marine mammals without harming them

A wonderful experience that gives the feeling of enjoying wildlife without violating it. On the 8:44 a.m. slot, we were lucky enough to see 3 whales, dolphins, and plenty of birds, including puffins fishing. Very professional guide and captain who really sought to satisfy their customers while respecting the marine mammals that we were able to observe.

Indescribable experience!

The dinghy experience was magnificent (super recommended)! moreover, the dinghy gives the possibility to move quickly from one point to another and allows you to see more whales. The guide is very prepared and good at explaining all the types of whales that live in the bay and their habits.
