Our guide Maham was fantastic! She brought Rome's dark history to life with captivating storytelling. Walking through Castel Sant'Angelo and across Ponte Sant'Angelo at night was genuinely spine-tingling.
Maham perfectly balanced spooky stories with historical facts, and the interactive elements made it engaging throughout. The 8:30 PM start was perfect for atmospheric darkness.
Whether you're a skeptic or believer, this tour shows you a completely different side of Rome. Highly recommend - and ask for Maham as your guide!

This was the most unique tour I’ve ever experienced. My 11 year old son and I enjoyed Antonio’s tales of Rome. History is one of my favorite subjects, I’ve taken many historical tours in Rome over the years and I still learned a lot on this one. My son adored Antonio and chatted with him as we went from stop to stop. Antonio showed immense kindness interacting with a very curious child that some could have been annoyed by. And if he was annoyed, he did not show it. Without question, I would choose another tour that he led.
It wasn’t all ghost stories but a collection of tales that took place in the early days of Rome. We walked around to various buildings that have been repurposed, are remarkable in some way and have a curious history. We walked around 3000 steps (according to my Apple Watch) in two hours with no significant inclines or declines. Throughout the night, we received references to research more about the subjects of the tour.

The best tour! Our guide Mayham was great. The tour walks you in areas you'd probably not go to and shares the tales. Nothing to scary if you have kids along. Definitely would recommend!

Our guide (Dominique) was very knowledgeable, friendly and chatty, the walk was very interesting and informative. I’d have given 5 stars if it had included more ghost stories, I’d say it was more about legends and crime stories than it was about ghosts.

Gruesome tales of historical Rome. A truly captivating and educational tour by our tour guide. A young man (Simon I believe. If not, apologies.) who took us on a dark journey through the streets of this intoxicating city with tales of death, deception, execution and witches but to name a few. I would definitely recommend this tour. Maham our guide made this perhaps the best tour I've taken in 3 trips to Rome. She is a natural story teller, warm, and engaging. She gave us a challenge along the way which was quite fun, all the while sharing the darker side of Rome's history. Afterwards you'll view the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge a bit differently. Cheers.
