Your day trip to Pisa and Florence begins with hotel pickup in Rome and transport for you and your group by bus to Pisa. Explore the sights on Piazza dei Miracoli on your own for about an hour with your prebooked tickets—including the cathedral, baptistery, and cemetery—plus snap photos of the famous leaning tower from outside. Then board the bus to continue on to Florence.
Once you arrive in Florence, spend an hour of free time stretching your legs and shopping before meeting your group and guide at the Accademia Gallery to take in Michelangelo’s iconic “David”. Afterwards, take a walking tour of the city to cover A-list sights like the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and Piazza della Signoria while learning about Florentine history and architecture. Board the bus for a final stop at Piazzale Michelangelo to admire the view over the city before the drive back to Rome.

Everything was top notch, starting from Rome to Pisa, Florence and back to Rome!! Excellent tour guide in Florence!! Maria gave us so much information while driving and took us through Pisa we enjoyed all the information she gave us while on our trip!! An excellent choice of restaurant she picked for our lunch, she even walked with us through Florence and it was very hot!! I can’t say enough about Luigi he is an excellent driver loves music and telling stories to us! We had the opportunity of Luigi on two different trips!! Luigi is the best of the best! My teenage grandson said he will miss Luigi!

Maria knew every great photo spot and was so happy to help take the photos for us! She had so much information not only of Pisa and Florence but areas along the way! It was an early start butt the driver and tour guide made it fun .she was so informed about pisa and took photos of us at the tower and during the tour so we have lots of memories.

We had a wonderful time on this small group tour. They picked us up and dropped us off at our air b&b. This was so helpful and convenient. On the way to Pisa our guide, Nariman, gave us facts and information about what we would be seeing and about Italy. It was helpful and very informative. When we got to Pisa, Nariman showed us around and made sure we heard the acoustic sounds in the Pisa Baptistery. This is a must! I was not expecting it and it was a pleasant surprise! Nariman made sure we got our classic Pisa photos! He even helped make sure we were in the right positions. Then we headed to Florence. We had an amazing tour seeing all the sights and learning new information. Then Nariman took us around to see the extras! This was what made the tour! We had a great day and want to go back to Florence again!

We had 5 people booked on this so we got a private car. We were picked up early and had a driver and guide that were with us. It took 3 1/2 hours to get to Pisa with a gas station Cafe stop. Then another hour and a half to Florence. In Florence we ate lunch and had about 2 minutes to shop before meeting another group and local guide. There were 9 of us total. The tour was great. My only regret is that we didn’t have much free time. Afterwards it took about 3 1/2 hours to get back with another stop. I would definitely recommend this tour especially if you have a group of 4-5 people!

This was a great way to fit two cities in without having to block out two plus days to do them. Being picked up and returned to the place we were staying at in Rome was extremely convenient and made the morning easier even with it being an early start. We saw everything with plenty of time that we had wanted to see and do. Plenty of time to shop in Florence and explore. The guide was great and it being a smaller group was amazing.

Really great tour. We were staying at the Hilton Rome Airport, which wasn't on the hotel pickup list, but the tour operator added it for us, which was wonderful. Picked up right outside our hotel in a spacious, clean minivan with a driver and guide. We were guided around the basilica next to the Pisa tower, then given free time around the tower itself before returning to the van to go to Florence. Once there we had free time to shop (Italian leather!) and have lunch before joining our guide for a walking tour of Florence, including of course viewing the amazing David statue. The return drive to Rome was a little delayed due to a traffic accident, but our driver diverted around this so we lost very little time. All in all a very good day, with pleasant, personable guides and driver.

Long and compressed but very worthwhile tour. Our main tour guide Elizabeth was a delight, her and our driver Luigi were incredibly accommodating for the long commute from Rome to Pisa/Florence and back. Plenty of time was alloted for free time (meals) and everything logistical was completely taken care of. Our local guide for Florence, Stefan was also a delight and super knowledgeable about everything as we walked and talked. Was great to learn a snippet of the history of these amazing towns and see some incredible sights such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa and Accademia Gallery in Florence.

Most everyone knows the "Leaning Tower of Pisa", but there is much to learn to fully understand how and why it was built. I thoroughly enjoyed the education I got from our tour guide, Ricci. Spending just a little extra to have a personalized tour for just the 4 of us, and being able to go at our speed (slow), made for a fun day. Florence is so rich in history and beauty, there is something for everyone to like about it. We absolutely loved our Florence/Pisa from Rome Full Day Tour. The pickup at the hotel was on time & met by our lovely guide Malak & driver Roberto.
Malak is a passionate, knowledgeable & kind tour guide with a million dollar smile & customer service that goes beyond expectations. The flow of information was timed well & on point in order to keep the pace of the trip.
The choice of eateries (1 1/2 hours outside of Rome breakfast break of FRESH pastries/sandwiches & lunch at Da Pinocchio in Florence were FANTASTIC)
Our small group joined another small group in Florence with tour guide Elena. She did a superb job highlighting the museum & other points of interest in the city. Malak also stayed with us the entire time insuring we were all taken care of.
Throughout the trip, Roberto did a wonderful job. He is an excellent & SAFE driver. He met us on time, at key points, with a smile & courtesy that is second to none.
On our way back to Rome we stopped at an overlook for the view of Florence from above. It was a view that tied our beautiful experience of the day all together.
Overall, we rate this tour an A++. Malak, Roberto & Elena did an absolutely superb job representing well, the welcoming culture in general & Welcome Italy, in particular.

It is a full day. You will not return earlier than the time allotted. It’s a great tour. Nothing negative to say. Maria the tour guide and Constantine the driver are a great combo. Maria does not talk too much like some tour guides. They will stop for restroom breaks and snacks. Great day!

We unfortunately scheduled on a heavy rainfall day. We made it through and so glad we did. Pisa was beautiful to see in person and the heavy running pouring off the side of the tour was even pretty cool. Florence is a must see location for many reasons, mostly for David, but the architecture and food were fabulous. Shopping didn’t happen this time but will definitely be back, when we dry out from being soaked to the bone..

A thorough tour of Pisa Cathedral and Tower, with several stops around Florence to see the Art Academy, Cathedrals, Monuments and Bridges. Our Guide Dune’ made the trip memorable with selection of an incredible Trattoria in Florence and a great attitude through the pouring rain throughout the 14 hour tour. The Docent at Florence was informative and friendly through dense crowds & guided us well through the vast exhibits. I would highly recommend Dune’ and Viator for the tours of Pisa and Florence from Rome.

The pickup at our hotel was perfecto!, for such an early trip that was a 3hr drive. The sights were amazing! In both Pisa and Florence! Agnes was amazing as was our Florence expert guide. Now the opportunities for improvement, the little Toyota van just doesn't have the suspension to traverse the bumpy highway out of Rome into Tuscany, once you hit Tuscany, the roads are much smoother. It was jaw rattling for the first ~90 minutes, a Benz would have handled it better than the Toyota. Lastly, you are in a confined shared space for 6 hours, and our driver had the worst case of overwhelming Halitosis that has offended the nostrils in many decades. It was just a bit much to overlook, both time spent and considering the cost per person for a small group tour...premium cost should premium experience!

This was far by the best tour that I have ever been on. Rishi, our tour guide was absolutely amazing. He was knowledgeable and gave us time to do some sightseeing while being proficient in the tour. I definitely book with Viator again. They always give great tours.

Our experience was absolutely amazing! Agnes and Giuseppe were truly spectacular and beyond attentive. It was a 2 hour trip from Rome to Pisa and then we continued to Florence. Throughout the whole journey we got constant attention to our needs and comfort. We were very well taken care of. Agnes got us a lunch reservation at Pinocchio's Restaurant in Florence where the service and the food were absolutely awesome! In Florence we met with Giovanni who gave us a great educational tour of the city. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly. This was definitely 5 star experience!

Very good and safe transport from Rome to Pisa, Florence and return to Rome. Maria and driver were great and attentive. Maria provided lots of info about Pisa. We met up with Giovanni in Florence for a more detailed walking tour. Giovanni was great and provided lots of information. It would be great if Maria had a microphone and provided some information about what we were passing on the ride to Florence and ride back to Rome. Having this information will allow a better and interactive trip rather than silence. We would suggest to introduce the group to each other. We had an all American group and after first rest stop we shared stories the entire trip making it fun. It was great that she made the effort to make a restaurant reservation for our group, however, the staff at the restaurant vecchio metcato was abrupt and somewhat rude. The behavior of the waiter kind of ruined the morning, however, the afternoon with Giovanni helped everyone forget about that experience. I felt the tour was worth the price!

A very good experience. A most enjoyable day. Agnes the assistant was very helpful along with Luigi the driver. Giovanni the tour guide in Florence was very knowledgeable.
