    Florence trip

    Robert_L, Aug 2026
It was very misleading. We were expecting a guide for our tour. Instead we were just dropped off in the middle of Florence by someone who didn’t even speak English and just left on our own. All this for $1400! Very poor.

    Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Mr. Lawson, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you and your family chose to travel with us, though we are deeply sorry to learn that the experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to gently clarify the details of the service booked. We offer a variety of travel experiences, including comprehensive guided tours led by certified art and history experts, as well as independent day trips. The specific option you selected is designed as an independent visit, offering five hours of free time to explore Florence at your own pace. As transparent communication is highly important to us, these details—along with what is explicitly included and excluded—are clearly outlined on the booking platform prior to confirmation. Regarding your journey, our driver, Fabrizio, is conversational in English and regularly assists our guests with essential city information and orientation. We regret if there was any misunderstanding regarding the level of guiding provided or the language barrier during your trip, as our goal is always to ensure a seamless and comfortable ride. For guests seeking an in-depth, commentary-led experience, we always recommend our fully guided Florence tour, which features a dedicated professional guide throughout the day and is clearly titled as such on the platform. We truly appreciate your patronage and hope that, despite this misunderstanding, you and your family created wonderful memories during your time in Florence. Warm regards, General Manager
