Both the colosseum and...

Both the colosseum and forum were as fascinating and amazing as we expected. We were so glad we were able to skip the long lines as part of this tour. While our guide Loriana was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable, we did have trouble understanding her some of the time. And we would have preferred a faster pace.

It was excellent choice. Colosseum Underground has to be booked months in advance and it is worth every penny. Absolutely must. The other part of the tour for Palatine Hill was with the separate team - and we were lucky to have Paula as a tour guide. She is knowledgeable, very well spoken and possesses great way of delivering information. Great tour. Recommended Highly!

The Colosseum is well-suited for families with kids.
This is an open-air amphitheater, so bring a hat and sunscreen and wear comfortable shoes and attire.
You may also see the Colosseum referred to as the Flavian Amphitheatre or the Coliseum.
