What are people saying about Roatan

If you’ve ever been to...
If you’ve ever been to roatan there are about 100 people in your face trying to get you to use them for taxi, it’s overwhelming and scary. We instead booked Omar through this and he was wonderful, made me feel at ease, was our private driver for the whole day, brought us to the private beach, showed us around, stayed at the hotel until we were ready to leave, he even stopped us at the rum factory and the roatan sign to take photos and helped us take photos and go us safely back to the port area.

You want this one!
This trip is so much fun! The wildlife habitat was so fun and interactive. I never expected to have monkeys jumping across my head and landing on my shoulders! It was awesome! Snorkeling was fabulous, and the beach was perfect and private. Our guide Fabian was exceptional. He was my family’s personal tour guide for our trip, and he totally catered our excursion to our preferences. I love the island of Roatan so much more for having heard so much about its history and culture from Fabian’s stories in the transport. Couldn’t recommend this excursion enough. We’ve done several cruises and many excursions, and this is at the top of our favorites’ list.

The Best tour I have ever had!
This tour made a complete day! Our tour guide was amazing and very friendly. She was bilingual and would constantly change back and forth between spanish and english. Interacting with the monkeys, sloth and parrot was nothing short of wonderful. The chocolate and rum factories were both fun and interesting with great views of the coastline. Ending up a the beach club was great and made a great end to our tour.

We really enjoyed this...
We really enjoyed this excursion. First stop was at the Monkey & Sloth Sanctuary which we absolutely loved. It was such an awesome experience being so close to the parrots, monkeys and sloths and having a parrot land on our heads as well as monkeys. After leaving the animal sanctuary we headed to West Bay Beach. Our tour guide for the day was Jose and he was amazing. He provided a lot of information about the island and the culture on the drive and he stayed with us the whole time at the beach. We unfortunately had bad weather the whole day and therefore wasn't really able to fully enjoy the beach. We tried to snorkel but because of storms the waves were beating us down and the water was cloudy so you couldn't see anything. But Jose was amazing and offered to take us to other places. After having a delicious meal and drinks at the beach, Jose took us to the chocolate factory at West End where we got to hear how they make their chocolate and buy yummy good and from there, he took us shopping at West End. Even after all of that, Jose asked if there was anywhere else we wanted to go before taking us back to the cruise ship. There were 5 in our party and we had a great day despite the nasty weather we were having.

Monkeys and parrots and sloths—oh my! If a wildlife-viewing adventure appears on your wish list, you can’t go wrong with Roatan excursions that get you up close and personal with the animals that call this island off the coast of Honduras home. Active adventures abound at this popular cruise port, from ATV rides to jungle ziplines to snorkel cruises on the crystal-clear Caribbean Sea. In fact, Roatan sits near the Mesoamerican Reef, the second-largest barrier reef system in the world, so it’s teeming with colorful marine life, including starfish and turtles.
