What are people saying about San Salvador

Don't miss this one.
Fun tour with Alfredo Diaz. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about the Mayan sites and San Salvador. We were a small group, 3 of us on tour and it felt like a private tour more or less. I chose a light vegetarian lunch, it was fresh and with a view of Lake Coatepeque. Then an easy maybe 40 minute walk after lunch. Highly suggested.

Unforgettable field trip to Santa Ana Volcano.
Very responsible guide, Josué Romero never let me behind even when I was the slowest walker, clear explanation about how to expect in the trip, brief history of volcanos in El Salvador and the country history. Good transportation and driver Ivan did a nice job.

5 stars all the way
Dave was great! Vibrant personality, personal touch getting to know all of his tour group! One of the best walking tours we have been on! El Salvador is an amazing country and Dave sure highlighted it well! Thank you for your passion, hospitality and great humour! Mucho love from Canada ! Haha - Kim & Ian

Rene’ was a fantastic tour host
Truly exceptional experience with our tour guide Rene’. Flexible with stops and well balanced with local food and drinks and showcasing the culture of El Salvador. We had amazing travel mates in the tour group who were so nice and fun. A truly exceptional tour and day!!

The capital of the small country of El Salvador, San Salvador is a perfect jumping-off point for exploring the country. Scale Santa Ana Peak, the country’s tallest mountain and an active volcano; border-hop into nearby Honduras for the ruins of Copan, some of the world's best-preserved Maya ruins; or follow the Ruta de las Flores, a path that features incredible biodiversity and indigenous culture. San Salvador tours are the way to see the country and region in all its complexity.
