We had such a great experience with our shuttle driver, Dereck! He was incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming from the moment he picked us up. Dereck made the entire ride comfortable and enjoyable, and we felt completely safe throughout the trip. He was very attentive, helpful with our luggage, and easy to talk to, which made the drive go by quickly. You can tell he genuinely cares about providing a great experience for his passengers. We couldn’t have asked for a better driver and would absolutely recommend him to anyone needing transportation in Guatemala. Thank you for making our trip even more enjoyable! 10/10 experience!

Byron was a fantastic guide. Contacted us even before the tour to establish details. He pick us up on time and we had a very safe and informative tour of the city. The posted itinerary is what we followed but all along the way Byron was open to questions or stops to try things. This is a must do for anyone wanting a taste of Guatemala City

I really enjoyed the tour company I thought they were professional and friendly from start to finish I like the touch of providing smoothies for us on return. Lots of our gear was included I only payed extra for hiking pools at the base of the mountain but I felt they went above and beyond to make our experience special they had marshmallows and hot chocolate at base camp and a common area cabin that was really nice. The cabins held 2 to 4 people and were very comfortable I didn’t feel cold when sleeping only at fuego and they really monitored out weather to make fuego happened. That being said every person on our tour did get sick within 24-48 hours with a gastrointestinal illness I suspect ecoli it could have been from the chicken in the lunch or water truly anything and as unfortunate as this is I truly feel it was a one off and i would still recommend this company just be mindful if you feel unwell in the following days to go to a pharmacy

Such a fun and light experience we had so much fun and learnt a lot about chocolate and its history while getting to make some ourselves goofed around a bit. there is a beautiful hand made jewellery store in the same building that we explored while waiting I would absolutely recommend this experience thank you josaline

This was such a fun and unique experience in Antigua! We really enjoyed getting to take part in the entire process of creating our own piece of jade jewelry, rather than simply watching someone else make it. The experience started with being able to choose our own piece of jade, which made it feel personal right from the beginning. From there, we picked the design we wanted and then actually worked on shaping and creating the piece ourselves. It was really interesting to see how a rough piece of jade slowly transformed into something beautiful that we could take home with us. The instructors were wonderful. They were friendly, patient, and very helpful throughout the entire process. They gave us plenty of opportunity to do the work ourselves while stepping in when needed to make sure our pieces turned out well. They also helped with the finishing touches so that what we made looked polished and professionally finished. I especially liked that you leave with a souvenir that has much more meaning than something you simply purchase in a store—you actually selected the jade and helped create the finished piece yourself. This was a great hands-on activity and something a little different from the typical sightseeing tours. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Antigua who wants a fun, creative, and memorable experience.

John was a fantastic tour guide for our ATV sunset ride! We started around 2:15 PM, and he was thorough, friendly, and guided us in English. The whole experience felt well-paced, with enough time at each stop to explore and enjoy everything without feeling rushed and not feeling like we’re spending too much time at places. A few things worth knowing beforehand: You are required to wear a helmet. You’ll be riding the ATVs on regular roads alongside other cars, so this isn’t an off-road or mountain ATV experience. At Hobbitenango, the final stop, the departure time you agree to is set because the vehicles operate on a schedule. If you decide you want to leave earlier, they may not be able to accommodate that, so plan accordingly. There was also one very short stretch where we got some dust in our faces for a few seconds, so that’s something to keep in mind if you’re particularly sensitive to dust or have any related concerns. Overall, it was such a fun experience and surprisingly not stressful at all. John made everything easy and enjoyable from start to finish. 10/10 would absolutely do it again!

This experience was definitely one of the highlights of my trip and probably the best meal I had. Dario and Victor were fantastic, personable and so knowledgeable. I ended up having a solo class because others dropped out last minute but I highly recommend! Thank you Dario and Victor! And a special shoutout to my driver Ronny for getting me to and from the class safely.

We loved experiencing the volcano. In particular, the lava field was fascinating. It felt like a uniquely Guatemalan experience, which is what we were looking for. The tour was really well organized, including excellent communication days before the outing and during our tour. We had 3 guides that were spread out amongst our group to assist with navigation and safety. Tips: - There is about a 1.5 hour drive through the mountains in a shuttle before and after the ATV part, so come prepared if you are prone to motion sickness. - Wear hiking boots. We did ok in sneakers, but hiking boots would have made for an easier experience. - For novice ATV drivers… the instructor provided good operating instructions and also provided advice on navigating some more challenging parts of the trail throughout the trek. It is the rainy season, so we could see where some parts of the trail were washed out, etc. If you’re uncomfortable, they do provide an option to back out of driving before leaving. Also, the ATVs can accommodate 2 people if you want to designate a driver and a rider.
