Great experience! Don't...

Great experience! Don't bring anything you don't want getting wet, because it will get wet! The hike isn't bad at all, but could see it being kind of difficult if you're not in ok shape. It's about 1 mile to the top with roughly a 400 foot elevation gain, then lots of stairs down to the river. Once at the river we slid down a few waterfalls and had the option to jump 20 feet into the water or climb down a ladder at the 2nd to last fall. Do the jump! You'll regret it if you don't! After climbing down the ladder at the last fall we walked back to the base which was mostly a flat hike. When we were there there were a couple of larger groups which required us to wait a bit, but it wasn't a big deal. Would certainly recommend it to anyone that likes water and a bit of adventure!

Great first day in Lisbon

Excellent tour by our guide Luca! Felt like we made a new friend in Lisbon, very personable and a delight to be with! It was our first full day in Lisbon and this tour gave us a nice overview of the city so that we could plan the rest of our week. Luca was very knowledgeable and did a great job, just a nice guy to be around. His recommendation for lunch at the Trindade has proven to be the meal of the week! Overall a great start to our trip, I highly recommend using this tour company and if you can get Luca all the better!

Daniel was our guide. He was prompt in picking us up. He navigated the roads in a safe and courteous manner. He provided a wealth of information about Lisbon’s (and Portugal’s) history, culture and trivia. His communication style was easy to understand and comprehend. He provided an appropriate amount of detail without information overload- unless we asked more questions. He is the best guide we have ever had. The tour was well laid out. We started at the top - on a hill (Miradouro Da Senhora Do Fora) with an overview of the city and its history. We worked our way thru a variety of neighborhoods. We would drive from one neighborhood, walk a while, then drive to the next stop. It was not physically challenging. It was an overall great experience for the four of us.

Edgar was amazing!! His tour was outstanding. He took us to see the wonderful parts of Puerta Plata which included a visit to a fort, rum distillery and walked us through the streets to see other sights. He allowed the time and space to enjoy these sights. I would highly recommend booking this!! Our day ended with a nice lunch at a restaurant and a gift from Edgar. This was my FAVORITE excursion.

Exciting Time

Very fun experience. The slides were very fast due to recent rains. My wife got skin abrasion on elbow from rocks. Make sure travelers are in good physical condition. No need to wear sunglasses or carry anything since most of the trip is in the shade. Free lockers, helmet, and life vest provided by the park operators. The water was cold and refreshing on a hot day. Lunch provided by tour operator was very tasty. Tour operator provided timely communication before the tour.

Family friendly fun and adventure

I would highly recommend this excursion!! Our tour guide Daniella, driver Marteen, and paparazzi/photographer Chocolata were the best!! They were friendly, knowledgeable and professional!! We booked this excursion with another family and we're the only ones in our tour group! Chocolata took great pictures of us the whole experience! While on the hike up to the zip lines he informed us all about the types of trees, land around the area and all about the Dominican culture. He was so funny cracking jokes along the way! He fully immersed himself in the experience with us while ziplining and sliding down the rocky waterfalls. He stopped us along the way to capture these priceless memories with photos of the families and friends. After the ziplining and waterfalls, we took a tour though the countryside to visit a real plantation where they shared more of their culture, coffee, rum, chocolate, cigars with samples! We would highly recommend tbis tour! Family friendly and for all ages!

A great overview of the city

The tuk tuk tour with Baltazar was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about the different areas of the city and stopped at a number of miradoras, monuments and highlights. It was enjoyable and provided me with a great overview of the city and some of the major events over the years. I would highly recommend this tour and tour guide. Just be prepared to bounce around due to the cobblestone streets.

Great Way to See Lisbon!

We really enjoyed our e-bike tour with Edu. Edu explained how to use the bikes and gave great instructions on the bike mode to use while we tackled each section of Lisbon. We always felt safe and learned a lot about the City. It was a great way to get a quick orientation. After our ride Edu provide us with a great list of restaurant and sight-seeing options.
