Great tour!

Daniel gave a great tour of Capri. Had some difficulty finding the meeting point, but he was very quick to respond with clear instructions on where to find him. Although the weather was not the most ideal we had a great time exploring the island of Capri. Daniel offered to take our pictures several times through the tour, gave us great information on the various grottos and parts of the island. Would highly recommend this private tour versus the many of group tours.

Myself 28F traveling via cruise ship from Naples to Capri and needed a 2 hour excursion at 12pm. Tour 9/10 and would book again. The boat is small and would not recommend for those who have vertigo or high sensitivity to motion sickness - however myself and friend were ok taking Dramamine. Because this tour takes you very close to the cliff side and multiple Grottos the waves can be intense leading to seasickness, but very manageable if you are prepared. In exchange the views and colors of ocean you see hold an electric pull of beauty. It was a beautiful way to see Capri and avoid the large crowds. As Americans the captain did not speak much English but with basic words and context clues we communicated during the tour, he was very friendly, and photographed for us.

Good boat tour of beautiful waters

Our boat guide, I forget his name, was amazing and fun! The waters, caves and sites were beautiful. It’s a great way to view the area! However, the description of the boat tour was a bit deceiving as well as no drinks were available to purchase as stated. There was no snorkeling equipment and I am not even sure where you would do that on this tour. The boat was fine, a bit old but it was a very crowded area to get on the boats and it pretty much was whatever group you were in just gets the next boat available. Overall it was a nice tour and I would recommend but Viator needs to maybe tweak the description a bit.

Great boat ride!

We really enjoyed this boat ride! Meeting point was easy to find and our tour leader (Francesco) was friendly. The boat was clean and comfortable. Fresh fruit, chips, and drinks (beer/wine/water/soda/limoncello) were provided and the leader and captain were both very attentive and frequently asked if we needed anything else. There is a bathroom on board but we didn’t use it. The tour itself was great, we got to go around the whole island and see the highlights, including the Fraglioni rocks and some small caves. This tour did not include the blue grotto but we weren’t interested in that, which is why we selected this tour. We left the marina on time but we did arrive back about 20 mins early (total about an hour and 40 mins, Viator said it would be 2 hrs). This was no big deal, I expect this was due to ideal weather/sea conditions which enabled us to move at a good pace around the island. There was one 20 minute swimming stop but it was in an area with many other boats and people swimming. Overall, felt like we got exactly what we booked and paid for so would definitely recommend! Great way to spend an afternoon in Capri!

The experience was great....

The experience was great. However, the two things that can be improved is that besides the email providing the meeting location, the name of the boat should be given, the fact that the boat is not allowed to dock should be known, and the type of uniform or shirts the guides will be wearing should be described. We had a very difficult time finding the guide. Lastly, the Blue Grotto is so crowded, the chance of actually getting in to see it on the boat tour is slim. We did not get to see it.

We had an amazing boat trip around Capri on September 17th! It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. The whole experience was fantastic — beautiful views, crystal-clear water, plenty of time to enjoy the coastline, and a very relaxing day on the boat. Seeing Capri from the water, the Faraglioni rocks, the grottos, and all the incredible scenery around the island was unforgettable. Our captain was friendly, professional, and made sure we had a great time throughout the day. We also really appreciated being able to stop for lunch right on the water, which made the experience even more special. If you're visiting Capri, I highly recommend spending a day exploring the island by boat. It gives you a completely different perspective of Capri and was absolutely worth it. Worth every penny, a day to remember . Davi ensured we did absolutely everything we wanted to do. We went to the Blue Grotto which whilst a wait Davi ensured we were able to go as soon as possible. We had time for a swim, which again he found a beautiful truly wonderful place to stop. It was great that he had towels for us to use and bottles of chilled water - meant we just had to bring ourselves. He then sailed around the whole island pointing out all of the sites and ensuring we saw everything on our list. We chose 3 hours and can highly recommend . Truly memorable.

Fun tour

Luigi tour guide was extremely punctual, giving us a preview of 3 itineraries should the blue grotto be closed due to water conditions. He was able to take us to all the popular sites before it got crowded and we never had to wait on long lines. Our tour got was up front on how expensive it was to shop on Capri and how many items weren't made on Capri. Basically warnings about any rip offs. He was funny and very professional.

The Best Decision You Will Make!

Only visiting Capri for a day and where we were staying we had to catch a ferry back by 5:45pm. So, looking around we saw the best way to see Capri in a short amount of time was a boat tour and boy did we pick the right one. Our 3 hour private boat tour with Captain Mario was hands down the best decision we made on our entire Italian vacation. From the moment we set off, we were surrounded by breathtaking views—towering cliffs, shimmering turquoise water, and hidden coves that felt like something out of a dream. One of the absolute highlights was swimming straight through the Green Grotto—diving into crystal-clear water and emerging inside a glowing natural cathedral carved by the sea. It was surreal and unforgettable. We opted out of seeing the Blue Grotto because it would’ve cut out too much time from the 3 hours we had. Since doing that, it gave us time for multiple swim stops. Mario made it more memorable by taking photos of us when we were in the water and on the boat. Captain Mario was an exceptional guide, skipper and also has a fantastic singing voice! His deep knowledge of the island’s history and stories brought every cliff, cave, and landmark to life, turning the journey into something far richer than just a boat ride. To top it all off, we enjoyed chilled prosecco and limoncello on deck as the sun sparkled over the waves. The best day in Capri!

We took our two young children (5 and 7) on the half day boat tour and had the best time! Our captain, Luca, was great and his boat was beautiful - it was the perfect day in Capri. We loved having the boat to ourselves, and going at our own pace, and the kids loved jumping off the boat into the crystal clear water. We can’t recommend this trip enough if you’re in Capri!
