What are people saying about Venice

The class was definitely...
The class was definitely a little expensive but worth it. Being on the production floor was a cool experience and our teacher Melissa was super helpful during the class itself. Just a heads up shipping your glass item can get a little expensive so it’s better to carry it back with you.

What a great experience!
What a GREAT GREAT experience! I am so glad we did this, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Venice. Massimiliano makes sure you understand the process and is with you every step of the way to ensure your safety and that you walk away with something beautiful that YOU create. We had a great time and - as a travel agent - I will be recommending this to all my clients visiting Venice and looking for something out-of-the-box to do.

What a fun experience!
This was such a wonderful and eye-opening experience! I'm NOT an artistic person, but I appreciate what artists can do. So, not knowing what to expect, I showed up for a one-on-one glassblowing explanation and then got to try my hand at it. He was so informational, using excellent English while explaining the science behind glassblowing. I felt safe, and had so much fun! The beads and candy are sitting on my dresser now. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, of any ability, who is interested in this fascinating art.

Absolutely amazing experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Murano & Burano semi-private tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Venice. Everything was perfectly organized, from the smooth boat ride to the insightful and friendly guide who made the history and traditions of the islands come alive. Murano was fascinating with its glass-making heritage, and watching a live demonstration was truly impressive. Burano, on the other hand, felt like stepping into a postcard — colorful houses, charming streets, and such a relaxing atmosphere. The small group size made the whole experience much more enjoyable and personal, allowing us to ask questions and really connect with the guide. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore beyond Venice and discover these beautiful islands in a more intimate and authentic way!

Venice has long been synonymous with glassblowing, but it’s really the nearby island of Murano where all the magic happens. Glassmakers in the late 13th century were required to move their workshops to Murano as a precaution against the risk of a widespread fire on the densely packed islands of central Venice. Today, not only can you tour the many glassblowing studios in Murano and purchase authentic Murano glass, but you can even sign up for Venice glassblowing classes to learn some of the tricks of this extraordinary art form from Venetian glass masters.
