Excellent tour of Istanbul highlights

Excellent tour! Our guide, Emre, was very knowledgeable about the history of Istanbul and the sites on the tour. Moving between the three sites was seamless with our guide. The Blue Mosque was definitely the highlight for us, but all three sites were beautiful and interesting. Highly recommend this tour!

It was a very nice experience. Our guide Furkan took us on a private tour of Ephesus which was informative & a relaxed. We had a great time. The ruins of Ephesus and filled with historic and religious significance. Furkan did a great job explaining the ruins & its history in great details. Great Airport Transfer Servive

Murat was wonderful! The Istanbul airport was very busy and is large. I was traveling by myself so I was a bit anxious arriving later at night. Murat sent me a video of my route to the correct exit. It made it easy! He was waiting for me and escorted me to the driver who was also terrific. Somehow he thought I was at a different hotel but took me the the correct one with no issues. I highly recommend Saw and Murat!

One of the Best Food Tours I’ve Been On!

This was honestly one of the best food tours I’ve ever been on! We got to try so many different foods, and I loved the variety of everything we tasted. Breakfast was especially amazing and such a great way to start the experience. Every stop offered something different, and it was a wonderful way to experience Istanbul’s food scene beyond the typical tourist restaurants. Come hungry because they definitely don’t skimp on the food! By the end of the tour, I was absolutely stuffed and couldn’t imagine eating another bite. Overall, such a fun and delicious experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Istanbul!

Our Istanbul City Tour with Gürkan – Highly Recommended!

Gürkan was our guide for two days of sightseeing in Istanbul, and he was fantastic! He was incredibly knowledgeable, informative and flexible, and was happy to take us all over the city. He particularly enjoyed walking around Istanbul rather than using public transport, which we loved too. Along the way, he shared fascinating information about the city, explained how things work and gave us a real insight into Istanbul and its culture. We thoroughly recommend him! A tip about Topkapi Palace: How much time you allow here really depends on your interests. If you love history and enjoy exploring palaces, discovering what is inside and learning about their history, make sure you allow enough time. We left Topkapi Palace until the end of the day and allocated around two hours, but we could easily have spent four hours there! I would recommend looking at the sites on your itinerary beforehand and prioritising the places that interest you most, rather than leaving them until the end of the day. Another useful tip when booking tours through Viator: When we initially booked our two-day Istanbul city tour, we noticed that the Basilica Cistern wasn’t specifically listed, so we booked a separate tour for our third day. However, we ended up visiting the Basilica Cistern as part of our original two-day tour. Fortunately, we were able to cancel the additional tour and receive a refund through Viator. My advice is to check exactly which attractions are included in your city tour before booking any additional excursions. This will help you avoid paying twice for the same attraction and make the most of your time in Istanbul. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with Gürkan and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and flexible guide in Istanbul!

Fun! Fun! Fun!

From start to finish this tour kept us engaged in entertainment, food and scenery. It was more then worth it. The pictures and albums they sold were a bit pricey but a good souvenoir if you buy them, which everyone usually does because it's a memory. Belly Dancing with a half-naked woman; would keep your kid's eyes closed! Was fun overall; and of course everyone went dancing together at the end !

My husband and I...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Cam, was punctual, engaging, interesting and very knowledgeable. We gained so much more from seeing these sites with Cam such as local insight, good photo spots, being able to ask questions of areas of interest etc. Without a doubt, I would recommend this tour to anyone. Sitting in the hot air balloon as it drifted over the breathtaking rock formations and fairy chimneys of Cappadocia at sunrise was easily the highlight of our trip to Turkey! From the very beginning, the organization by Skyway Travel was top-notch. Pick-up was right on time, and starting the crisp morning with a warm cup of coffee while the crew prepared everything made the waiting process very comfortable. Watching the giant envelopes inflate up-close in the dawn twilight was a spectacle in itself! Once in the air, the pilot was incredibly skilled, delivering a smooth, peaceful flight with unbeatable views of the valley as the sun came up. Landing was seamless, and the traditional post-flight champagne celebration and certificate presentation made it feel extra special. We were back at our hotel with plenty of time to enjoy breakfast and get ready for the rest of our day. Amazing experience, well executed!

The hot air balloon ride is one of a lifetime experience! And this company executed every detail perfectly! From the communication via WhatsApp one day prior the flight, to the pickup/drop off and the flight itself! The driver was friendly. The balloon crew was professional and nice. The pilot himself was very good and experienced. We had an amazing experience! Thank you! It’s recommended to take the first (sunrise) flight and to reserve it upfront, because it gets more expensive/sold out closer to the date, also make sure to reserve it on the first day of your stay, so if it gets canceled due to the weather you can do it one of the next days. Bring cash if you want the video footage. There is a snack bag for everyone and no time to eat it, but also you don’t need it much.
