Perfect Day in Erince Marsala and Vineyard Lunch

This was an amazing day absolutely. Rialto our driver and guide did beyond incredible job. The driving alone he did was skillful and safe. The views beautiful but I like many would not have made that drive! Stopped for great pics and explained everything. He was professional, funny and kind. We saw Erince and made the trek thru this mid evil town stopped at a great coffee shop for a break. Onto Marsala salt flats and then vineyard for a lunch beyond compare with wine tasting with each course. The food was tastefully presented, the flavors combined well with the wine. This was a perfect day Thank you ! You must do this tour it is too great to miss!

Titania is a very experienced guide who knows Palermo and Sicily very well. She gave us a 3 hour walking tour of Palermo and we visited all the main sights in the centre. We knew we wouldn't have time to go into each one so we wanted to get an overall picture and ghen went back in our own time. Tatiana gave us lots of advice about where to eat and was happy to send us links to websites of other places to visit. She was even happy to give us advice via WhatsApp on the following day. Tatiana is a very easy guide to engage with and we would definitely recommend her service.

Fabulous tour, perfect guide!

The tour was fabulous! From the magnificent Cathedral of Monreale, the castle in Castelbuono and the seaside town of Cefalu. Our guide was Fabio and we could not possibly have had a better guide, he was polite and the perfect gentleman! A great driver, with a love for his city and surrounds. He shared historical facts, cultural iniquities and funny snippets. It was a very hot day and Fabio made sure we had cold water and were comfortable all the time, and more importantly he went out of his way so that we could see everything. The Monreale cathedral was closed for mass when we arrived there (Sunday morning) but was due to open in the afternoon, so Fabio reversed the itinerary and took us there on our return to Palermo. For us, that was “going up and above” the norm! The inside of the cathedral is something to behold! And to finish the day, he treated to the most delicious ice cream we’ve ever eaten! Thank Fabio for an absolutely fantastic day. Mille Gracie !!!

Excellent Way To Tour Palermo

Fabrizio, our tour guide was amazing. He was knowledgeable, very easy to understand, and did an excellent job showing us the sites and explaining the history. Just make VERY sure there are no reports of extreme hot weather/fires, etc. We were on a cruise and the fires on the roads from Palermo to Catania closed the roads, so our bus ride back to Catania took seven hours instead of two, which means we missed our ship leaving the port for two days. Other than that, the tour itself was amazing!

A hands on cooking experience!

The cooking class on how to make pasta was excellent and we would do it again. The pasta turns out great. We don’t love our tiramisu - it was a very basic version. The instructor was excellent. We were greeted with a class of prosecco, white wine and a finisher glass (3 in total). We enjoyed this very much the amount of time allocated to the class was ideal.
