The best walking tour we have done!

This was the best walking tour we have done. Even my husband completed the 3 hour walk without sneaking off to get a drink at a restaurant, which is what he usually does. It was all done to our guide Douglas from Colour My Travel. He was so interesting to listen to, had a clear voice that could be heard by all and his presentation of the history of Valletta was fascinating and mesmerising. He set a moderate pace that all could manage comfortable which is another reason why my husband enjoyed the tour. I can’t recommend Douglas enough. A 5 star plus tour.

This was a comprehensive tour that was extremely well run, all encompassing, and most enjoyable. We saw so much in a relaxed manner. Our guide Christopher was wonderful - from the time he picked us up and told us this was our day to let him know our interests & he surely honored them. We could not have had a better guide. Thoroughly enjoyable Tuk tuk tour.

Our group was made up of two British couples and a French couple. Our guide Nabil was inclusive and entertaining. He was mindful when driving and tried to be as smooth as possible. We covered a lot of Gozo and made regular stops. Nabil gave a concise and knowledgeable commentary of each location and we had time to ask questions and explore before moving on. Lunch was ok, we had a glass of wine and some local fayre (pastries and pasta). After lunch the journey continued to salt pans, the Basilica and Victoria (the capital, including the walled Citadel). Its a fairly long day, but my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of touring in a Tuk tuk.

Fab half day out with Jason!

We had a wonderful half day tour with Jason. He picked us up from the hotel in a beautiful BMW, stocked inside with water. He was very outgoing and fun and gave us so many details about Malta as we drove along. The weather was hot but inside the car was perfectly chilled by wonderful A/C. We saw Mdina and a lovely fishing town, with free time in both. Then even got to taste prickly pears which were yummy. It was a really great tour that I can thoroughly recommend to all.

John knows his stuff

Had some info lost in translation from initial contact to execution, plus some more on the day of the actual tour, not John's fault. John's knowledge is encyclopedia and speaks extensively on all topics, I could barely keep up. I loved the rotunda very much and John provided us a delightful local snack thereafter. I didn't know I should see St Paul's grotto due to my own lack of research. My friend asked to go back to see the catacombs after we were well past them, which I would give a miss to, in hindsight. The grotto was then closed due to the hour, despite John's best efforts to ameliorate. John took us to a nice scenic overlook and the best part was the little market stood up there, very good experience. We went by the ancient ruins of Hagar Qim, supposedly older than the pyramids? Unfortunately I was not impressed. Really liked Mdina and the three walled cities which John managed to squeeze in despite the requested doubling back. He was able to pick us up at a different location as well as drop us off at my lodgings near the airport which I really appreciated!

Beautiful Views Off the Beaten Path

This tour was a must! I had been to Malta before but going the Blue Grotto was a highlight. It was so beautiful and we got to see a different part of the island I would have loved to have gone swimming with the locals but I didn't have my swim suite with me. I would definitely recommend the tour though.

Great day and great way...

Great day and great way to see the island. The views were great and our guides were amazing. Felt very safe even with having to navigate busy streets and driving in the opposite side of the road. Lunch stop was okay but loved the swim stop wish we had a bit more time here. I would suggest putting in specific details to have a swim suit and towel in want to bring/what is included since a lot of people didn't realize we needed them. I would recommend this tour definitely.

Fabulous day!

A great day from start to finish. We were collected on time, felt well looked after throughout the day. The short ferry ride accross to Gozo was actually good fun. A fairly small power boat so we definitely felt the elements. Good idea to bringing a jacket for February. The highlight of the day was obviously the quad bikes. Our guide explained everything clearly and made us all feel safe from start to finish. We toured much of the island, had plenty of stops for photos and information for those interested. Lunch was also better than expected, a nice clean restaurant served appetisers, then pasta, and a small cake. A nice 30mins break. All in all a great day and although expensive it was worth every penny. Highly recommended 👌.
