What an amazing tour! Our guide, Bjarte, was outstanding. His knowledge, kindness, and genuine hospitality and passion for Norway were incredible. One of the best guides I have had on any tour! The scenery is incredibly beautiful. There were many stops for beautiful photos, and I have seen some of the most beautiful scenery ever! I would 100% recommend taking this tour.

This was an amazing day with Thomas as our guide. All of the stops were amazing and the fjord cruise was breathtakingly beautiful. I’d definitely recommend this tour. Van was nice, new, and the ride smooth.
We had a really great experience! Thomas was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide, and we really enjoyed all the little stories and anecdotes he shared throughout the day. The waterfall was absolutely incredible, and the view from Stegastein was simply breathtaking – definitely one of the highlights of the trip!
The only small disappointment was the Viking village, as it was closed and the area we saw didn’t feel particularly “Viking”. Apart from that, it was a beautiful day, very well organised, with amazing scenery. We would definitely recommend this tour!
It was fantastic. Tom is a Great storyteller and the places we visited are beautiful. It’s enough time to knew this fjord
Stig was our travel guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating in regards to photo opportunities. We travelled in a very clean Mercedes transport van. We happened to land on a day that the weather was phenomenal giving us fabulous views. The cruise was an excellent experience we will never forget. Excellent driver on the narrow winding roads.
Great experience, Stig was a wonderful guide! Despite the weather, Stig made sure we had a good trip.
Wow...just wow! This was such an amazing tour! It was so nice to enjoy the scenery and sights in a small group, and our tour guide, Stig, was not only knowledgeable, but also engaging! We appreciated the history he shared along the way, and the stories he told of his own life growing up in Norway were fun to hear. Norway is such a beautiful country...highly recommend this as a way to see more of the country in a short amount of time.
Such a great tour! The guide was very knowledgeable and funny. We enjoyed it very much. Highly recommended!
Really enjoyed this excursion, and our guide Thomas was great. Our only complaint was that it didn’t seem to allow time for actual meals. There were multiple stops that included options for a quick snack and drink, but a 10-11 hour trip with only quick snack stops made for a slightly queasy bus ride at the end of the day. Other than that, it was a very good trip.

Thank you so much for your feedback :) Glad to hear that you enjoyed the trip! Sorry to hear that you felt like there was not enough time for a meal.
In Gudvangen you have around 45 min to buy lunch, then they serve some food on the 2hr cruise as well. And in Flåm you also have 45 min to eat if you wish :) The other small stops before Gudvangen or after Flåm is more for snacks etc.
This tour was very well organized and narrated by our tour guide Thomas. While a long day Thomas kept us very well informed about the segments of the tour and provided a lot of fun facts about Norway that made the trip a pleasant experience we’ll always remember.
A wonderful day, driving thru beautiful, interesting landscape; the driver provided some historical background. We made a comfort stop as well as a photo opportunity with a magnificent waterfall. The fjord cruise is exceptional with an electric catamaran that moves smoothly & quietly thru the fjord. Afterwards is a drive up to the Stegestein viewpoint overlooking the fjord.
Very well organized tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide who made our experience great! The ferry cruise is truly beautiful and an experience we thought was well worth it for our Norway trip. Thomas was a great guide and I hope you get him as well!
Really nice trip with a great guide, Stig. Funny entertaining and helpful. The fjord is breathtaking. A trip I will not forget so quickly about.
We had an absolutely amazing time! Our driver, Vido was so fun and talkative!! He was funny, friendly, and we learned so many interesting things about Norway!! It was money well spent, because we just got to see SO MUCH!! Would highly recommend this tour, this company, and Vido!! We are definitely coming back to Norway again!! Thank you for a wonderful tour!!
This is a great tour. Thomas was our guide and he was the best guide that we’ve had on tours like this. Thomas is very knowledgeable and provided great commentary on the drive (highly experienced driver as well). All the tour stops were well chosen and the cruise was beautiful. Do not miss this tour.
Fantastic guide and spectacular scenery made the 11 hour trip fly by. I would highly recommend this Viatour experience.
Bring your own food or expect hotdogs and road side fast food. It was fine.
Our driver was fun and interesting. We chatted later of music and cars.
A comprehensive twelve hour tour taking in the breathtaking scenery of Vestland and a wonderful two hour cruise along Naeroyfjord. Stig was the perfect tour guide and has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Norway and its history. Knowledgeable and good fun. I highly recommend this tour. You won’t regret it.
Thomas was a very informative guide and a great driver. The bus was comfortable and we were given ample stops to stretch and get something to eat. The cruise had such amazing views. If you don’t plan on renting a car to see the fjords this is a great option.
Highly recommend it. It is an all day tour. The bus is comfortable in a tour guide is very informative and had user-friendly information to share.
Wonderful tour overall. Our guide (Thomas) did an excellent job explaining everything clearly and sharing a lot of interesting information on our way to the fjord. The overall experience was even better than expected.
Thomas was a great tour guide! He was very knowledgable and friendly, I enjoyed listening to all of his stories.
Great experience! Very comfortable transportation. Be sure to wear something warm for the boat portion! Norway is a beautiful country and this is a great way to see a small portion. Our driver was local and GREAT! Shared loads of great information with us.
This is an excellent tour! From start to finish, our guide Bjarte was a delight!!! First, I love clear expectations and a plan so that is a bonus for me. It helps me to set the day and while I do know things don't always work out and things may be closed, there at Dale, he let us know there are plan B's, as on our trip a stop was closed, but he found a BETTER place and a pretty vista point to make up for it. His knowledge of all the little side quests and perfect picture spots were so much fun!!! We had some pretty weather which we've come to understand doesn't always happen and B was so thrilled that he would just pull over and say GO you've got 3 minutes Capture this!!!!! He gave such clear instructions when even exiting the fjord cruise as to when to meet him that you almost wanted to make him proud to show up ON time and make the team proud! this lead to the whole group getting back timely as well. The van was clean and comfortable and plenty of stops for breaks, I never once felt like I couldn't go to the bathroom which for me can be an issue. The Fjord Boat was nice but outside are no seats, be prepared to stand for the whole time, you can sit inside and that is nice as well but we wanted pictures of everything so we stood outside the entire time. There are bathrooms and a restaurant of sorts on the boat. The town of Flam is super small but cute, we had nice drinks at the brewery there and food from the food truck vendors, all good! The Stegastein view was super pretty but his sidequests were the REAL treat!!! Respect his little time shots and you get the sidequests~~
He made us feel like family the whole time with his recommendations of where to go and what to eat in town, and he took interest in us as well. What a great day!!!!! Long but worth EVERY minute!!
The trip was excellent; our guide Maren was professional!!, very friendly, and talkative, sharing plenty of great information, while the driver, Tommy, was highly experienced. The fjords are stunning—words can hardly describe the sights. Tusen takk!
Overall a very smooth experience! Our driver was great and got us around in one piece. He told us facts about Bergen as well as some of our other stops. The van was pretty comfortable. It was cool to see Nærøyfjord and Flam. The 2 hour cruise through Nærøyfjord was very smooth and honestly, there is no bad view anywhere on the boat. After a while, we ended up going inside to relax. The inside area has plenty of seats and there are also food and beverage options. Flam was cool to see but honestly pretty busy with tourists since it is a cruise ship stop. We did a 45 minute stop in Flam which I think was pretty good but definitely very short if you want to shop, eat, and take it in. We ended up just going to the market to get some smoked salmon to snack on and enjoy the sun before our drive back.
Long day . Guide Nina was excellent and kept us informed through the journey with interesting information about the places on the way . Luckily the weather held and the Fjord cruise passed without any rain . Spectacular views , for some reason the waterfalls in the way had very less water so lessened the spectacular views . View from the “ Toilet “ one of the 21 views in Norway as per our guide were specatacualr although quiets a bit of time was spent navigating the narrow road done skilfully by our driver Eric .
Overall enjoyed the experience
We did not have the time to do Norway in a Nutshell and found this tour. It was fantastic ...saw everything we wanted to in a day. We drove through beautiful scenery in a Mercedes van for two hours, with stops along the way, to meet the ferry. We spent the next two hours on a ferry ride through the gorgeous Fjords! Stunning views ....the ferry was delightful and never felt crowded. We had an hour long stop in Flam, and then were picked up by our driver, Stieg. On the way home, we were driven to an incredible lookout point for photos. Stieg was fantastic....knowledgeable, personable and an excellent guide and driver. We couldn't have asked for a better day, tour or guide.
Sit back, relax, enjoy. Our driver, Thomas, allowed us to fall in love withe the countryside.
And, bring a camera to record the beautiful sights.
Mini bus is very comfortable, the tour is very prompt and efficiently run, plenty of bathroom breaks (even for this 5 months pregnant lady!) I liked that the tour was split so you really are only with a group of about 15. Lovely photo ops along the way too. The drive back is a little tough if you get carsick
This was an all day tour - from 8 am until 7 pm. It's a long drive from Bergen to Nærøyfjorden/Flam fjord cruise/tour. Thomas was a great guide. He was entertaining and informative - give us a short tour of Bergen as we left the city and along the way to our cruise drop off point. He also showed off his driving skills as he carefully thread his way up and down the narrow mountain road to Stegastein viewpoint. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would gladly tour with Thomas again.
