## Ubud Private Tour — 5★ Review We had an excellent private Ubud tour with John as our driver and guide. The itinerary we booked included two waterfalls, a temple, the rice terraces with the swing, and a coffee plantation. John started off with a friendly, informative chat about Balinese culture and traditions that made the day more meaningful. Because of our stressful experience with monkeys the night before (they’d snatched sunglasses and hats) at Uluwatu where we saw the Kecak & Fire Dance, we chose the two waterfalls when we made the booking to avoid the Monkey Forest. En route, John listened to our concerns, gently reassured us that the Ubud monkeys are typically very friendly, and kindly offered to adjust the itinerary. We decided to try the Monkey Forest and were so glad we did — it was a highlight! Throughout the day John was attentive and helpful, including giving us fair local price guidance when shopping with street vendors. He was professional, flexible, and genuinely cared about our comfort and safety. He helped carry my husband’s big camera bag. We left Bali with a wonderful impression — largely thanks to John. Highly recommended.

We had such an incredible day on the Ubud All-Inclusive Private Guided Tour, it was definitely one of the highlights of our Bali trip! We visited so many amazing places including the Monkey Forest (which was wild — literally! Pro tip: don’t wear a bandeau top… a cheeky monkey pulled mine down and gave everyone a show 😂), a coffee plantation where we tried lots of different coffees including the famous one made from animal poop, the beautiful rice fields, and the swings (felt very random but actually so much fun — I ended up in a dress getting photos on multiple swings!). We also visited a holy water temple and a stunning waterfall — such a great mix of experiences. The lunch included was absolutely delicious, and enjoying it while overlooking the rice fields made it even more special. A huge shoutout to our driver Dewa — he was absolutely fantastic. So friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole day run smoothly. He really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Highly recommend this tour if you want to see the best of Ubud in one day, and if you get Dewa, you’re very lucky!

We travelled with hotel pick up at 3am and it was a fast and pleasant ride. We then switched to jeep ride with Ciko to continue the journey up the rest of mt batur for the sunrise tour. Ciko is amazing, he makes sure we are comfortable and he takes AMAZING photos and gave us so many pose ideas. He also explains a little bit of the plantation around and some basic historical insights of the black lava site. We would definitely recommend this tour with Ciko!
